“WARNING! 41 Threats Found!” Popup - How to remove?


The “WARNING! 41 Threats Found!” Popup is a fake alert displayed by the rogue anti-spyware program Total Security. This is done in order to scare the user into purchasing Total Security’s “licensed version”.

The popup says:

“Total Security – Threats detected
WARNING! 41 threats found!!!
Harmful software (malware) or racking cookies have been detected during the last scan. It is highly recommended to remove it from your computer.”

Do not trust this misleading popup and remove Total Security immediately upon detection.
