IMinentSmile - How To Remove?

 

IMinentSmile is a toolbar that can be added to Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 3.6.8 or higher. It offers smileys, winks, mood avatars, text effects and symbols to your instant messengers, e.g. WLM, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Messenger, e-mails including Yahoo! and Aol and Social Networks, such as twitter, Facebook, myspace, dailymotion or Hi5. One can download the toolbar from Iminent official website but usually it is distributed employing other methods. One of the most common ones is bundling IMinentSmile with freeware or shareware.

If you are not sure whether you want to keep the toolbar or not, you should know that after installing it your home page, search engine and New Tab page will be changed to custom Yahoo! search. You may be redirected to StartWeb. Another change is displaying of advertisements. Please note, that some of them might be malicious or lead to corrupted websites. Even though IMinentSmile is not a virus itself, clicking on the ads it displays might infect your computer. Moreover, those that are concerned with their privacy on the Internet should remove adware like IMinentSmile without any hesitation.
