How to remove WiniFighter?

What is WiniFighter?

Winifighter is another rogue anti-spyware program that uses misleading methods to promote itself. This program is advertised through the use of Trojans and belongs to the same family as WiniBlueSoft. These Trojans display fake security alerts and pop-ups stating that your computer is infected or it is under attack.  The fake security alerts are very similar to those used by Windows Security Center. It is very easy to confuse them. Don’t click on these alerts and don’t download this program, because it will ask you to pay $50 for totally useless application. Winifighter is a scam. You must uninstall it as soon as possible if your computer is already infected.

Even if you cancel the download, you will constantly see fake security alerts about virus attacks. These alerts will be displayed like every 1-2 minutes. That’s because your computer is already infected. While running, Winifighter will automatically scan your computer each time you log on into Windows. The scan results are false, as well as all these security alerts. This parasite will do all its best to trick you into buying this worthless software.

Another malicious method used by Winifighter is browser hijacking. Basically, this parasite will hijack your browser and redirect you to various malicious websites that promote malware and other rogue products. If you try to look up something on Google, you will be redirected to a random site. Winifighter may block certain security programs, so you may not be able to load them. For example, well known antivirus software AVG and Avast! won’t load. To make things worse, this program will likely disable System Restore and  Safe Mode.

Winifighter is obviously a malicious software that should be removed upon detection. Please use the remove guide below to remove this infection and any related malware from your computer. The provided Winifighter removal guide will explain you how to get rid of this parasite for free.

WiniFighter is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only WiniFighter can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads WiniFighter trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, WiniFighter offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, WiniFighter does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.

Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as WiniFighter, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install WiniFighter, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.

Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as WiniFighter, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
