TenchisTV Toolbar is a browser extension that was developed by Conduit Ltd. The program features video search services with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 6. 0 or higher. It also provides a quick access to your email, Facebook, some weather page, etc. The problem about this application is that it hijacks your search results to search.conduit.com.

Usually people install TenchisTV Toolbar without knowing exactly what this tool is for and how it is going to change their daily browsing. In fact the program collects information about your web browsing and sends it to Conduit so it could provide various ads offering services, selected according to your interests. TenchisTV Toolbar also changes your homepage and default search provider to search.conduit.com without your separate permission. 3. Remove TenchisTV Toolbar and other Conduit related components from the list.

How to remove TenchisTV Toolbar from Firefox:

1. Enter “about:config” in url bar. This will open the settings page.
2. Type “Keyword.url” in the search box. Right click and reset it.
3. Type “browser.search.defaultengine” in the search box. Right click and reset it.
4. Type “browser.search.selectedengine” in the search box. Right click and reset it.
5. Search for ‘browser.newtab.url’. Right-click and reset. This will make sure that the search page won’t launch on every new tab.
6. If the settings revert and scan with anti-malware programs are clean close Firefox, open file explorer and enter %AppData% in the address bar. Enter user.js in search box. If this file exists, rename it and start Firefox again. You will have to repeat the steps above.

How to remove TenchisTV Toolbar from Google Chrome:

1. Click 3 horizontal lines icon on a browser toolbar.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Basics ->Manage Search engines.
4. Remove unnecessary search engines from the list.
