Storimbo - How To Remove?

Storimbo is an adware program that is installed to random computers together with free video players, download managers, PDF creators and other freeware from the Internet. Some users noticed it bundled with Superfish, Yontoo, 1ClickDownload and FBPhotoZoom. The program was designed to advertise various commercial websites. It displays popup messages that contain discounts, coupons, etc. mainly when users are visiting shopping websites, for example, Amazon or Ebay.

The problem about these messages is that providing users with discounts is not their primary concern. Every popup by Storimbo contains a link to one of the commercial websites it advertises, so when you click on them, you will be redirected. The creators of this adware get money for every new visit to these pages. Although Storimbo is not a virus, it makes your browsing very inconvenient and increases a risk of getting attacked by malware after visiting malicious or compromised websites.

If you have noticed this program on your browser, you should also know that it can track your browsing habits, such as what your search queries are and what websites you are visiting most often. This information can be useful for the third parties to display various advertisements according to your interests and for other marketing purposes. This is one more reason to remove Storimbo from your computer.

Run a full system scan using a reputable antispyware program, for example, Reimage, SpyHunter, hitman or any other legitimate tool to eliminate this annoying application from your system. Don’t forget to upgrade it to its newest version to ensure the best detection and removal of such programs.
