Xtron System Care PUP - How to remove

Xtron System Care looks to some like a trustworthy and professional product. It promises to make your PC reduce errors and improve PC performance. Some who’ve noticed their machine running slower than before are on the lookout for a program to help them make their PC run better than before.

That search won’t end with Xtron System Care because this program is not going to help much, if at all. On the contrary, this optimizer is annoying, intrusive, and potentially dangerous.

What Xtron System Care does wrong

Xtron System Care is supposed to be a PC optimizer. Programs like this are still popular, despite the fact that they don’t usually have any positive impact on a system’s performance. This one promises to clean the registry and catch all the viruses that other antivirus tools missed. In reality, Xtron System Care is a potentially unwanted program and malware. It’s considered suspicious by a few reputable antivirus programs.

It also bundles Advanced Driver Booster and installs it after a bit of a delay. To you, it might look like it that program came out of nowhere. Bundling is used by many poor-reputation programs to infiltrate more machines without having to develop an attractive product. And while some professional applications also make use of it, bundling is looked down on because of how easy it is to abuse. Here, Xtron System Care probably tricked at least some people to install Driver Booster even though they didn’t want it.

Both programs are a pain to close and they start up every time you log on your computer. And no, you can’t use Xtron System Care’s own startup manager to get rid of it — it does not want to be disabled. You have to Windows’ built-in manager.

Previous PCVARK products (PCVARK made Xtron System Care), like Mac Tweaker and Advanced Clean Pro, have confused some people into believing that when they’re buying a product, they’re buying it once. Instead, they found themselves charged periodically. When Xtron System Care is made by a company which obfuscates its monetization like that, you should be careful before entering any agreement with it.

Do you need a PC optimizer?

Some people believe that a system optimizer like Xtron System Care is helpful or even necessary to make a computer run better, but that’s not always true.

Some issues just can’t be solved by a software tool, such as hardware problems. Dust in your hardware could make some parts of the computer overheat and even shut down unexpectedly. And too little memory and processing power will make some new programs simply unable to run smoothly — maybe they were written with more hardware resources in mind. None of these problems can be solved with Xtron System Care or any other optimizer.

Another problem with Xtron System Care and other PCVARK tools is that they set up scheduled scans, work in the background all the time, and display pop-ups. Few things are worse for an already struggling computer’s performance than another resource-intensive program. In fact, it’s better to go ahead and uninstall all the unnecessary software.

Like Xtron System Care says, removing unnecessary programs from your startup and will speed up your PC and clearing out junk files will free up some space, but these tasks can be accomplished without having to buy a $20 program with a suspicious user agreement. Don’t allow a fake optimizer to intimidate you with exaggerated problems and issues. If nothing works to improve your computer performance but you’re convinced that it can be done, scan your device for malware — some viruses work in the background. But keep in mind that a serious antivirus tool will remove Xtron System Care first.

Scan your computer to remove Xtron System Care automatically. As this program is known to be unwanted, serious antivirus applications should have no problem removing it. If your anti-malware tool isn’t finding anything, try Spyhunter, or another scannign tool to find not just Xtron System Care, but whatever unwanted programs were installed with it.
