These scam messages are targeted specifically to devices running iOS operating system – it can be a Macbook, iPhone or iPad. Here’s original text of the scam message:

Users are threatened that if they fail to call number +1-8333-370-777 immediately, their Apple device will be locked and it will cost $200 to unlock it. However, it’s a lie and your computer is most probably not infected.
