Windows Efficiency Console - How to remove?

Windows Efficiency Console is a rogue antivirus that can be installed to computers without users’ knowledge. The program employs Trojan viruses to make a secret installation and once inside it tries to rip computer users off. The application belongs to FakeVimes family of rogue antiviruses which has recently released, Windows Expert Console, Windows Cleaning Toolkit and Windows Warding Module. All of these programs are mimicking features of Windows Defender although they all are malicious.

Once inside the computer, Windows Efficiency Console runs a scanner. It imitates looking for infections on your system, reports about some malicious files that are damaging your computer and recommends removing them immediately. The malware claims that the only way to do that is by purchasing a full version of Windows Efficiency Console.

It is clear that the program only wants to get money from you. It has no database of infections so it could detect anything. Moreover, you shouldn’t expect it to remove malicious threats. It is a scam that tries its best to convince users into buying its license and earn money. Windows Efficiency Console even displays fake security notifications that warn about non-existent problems. Here are some of popups that your may receive:

It will make your system completely useless. Do not pay for this malicious application as it will not solve your problems.
