Type: Rogue Anti-Spyware

PC Doc Pro pretends to be a reputable registry cleaner which is promoted on various websites to “hunt down registry problems, glitches, and other corrupt junk files” from every computer. However, in reality it is a fake optimizer which will announce hundreds of invented errors detected even a machine is completely new. PCDocPro seeks to make people purchase its completely useless full version, as the optimum variant for the users who “don’t want to waste their valuable time waiting for the PC repair”.

PC Doc Pro is known to be promoted on such malicious domains like pcdocpro.com, spydocpro.com or spyresearchcenter.com where people are offered to check their computers for free. It may also happen that Trojan infections will also try to install this badware into your PC, so keep your security software up to date to avoid this malware.

Once installed, PC Doc Pro looks like a legitimate application and starts analyzing the whole system of the PC. This scam will definitely “detect” hundreds of spyware and will report about them for a user. All these actions will be continued hundreds of times to make people concerned about the “problems” they have and push them straight away into making a purchase. Note: all the errors reported by PC Doc Pro are fake, so be calm if it starts popping up on your desktop. Delete PC Doc Pro instead!
