Internet Security Suite (fake) - How to remove

Internet Security Suite (fake)

Internet Security Suite is new generic-named fake antivirus program from the same family as Smart Engine and Desktop Security 2010. Rogue makers try to confuse users by calling the parasites the most generic names possible to make them believe they are safe in purchasing. This Internet Security Suite is not different. Many users might think that it is made by some legitimate company when searching on the Internet for its name only. This parasite was first reported by GFI.

Internet Security Suite rogue enters system by using advertising serving Trojans and ads in infected websites. First you might see various alerts and popups claiming that something is wrong with your PC, for example, hacker is attacking it or you got some kind of strange virus. You are asked to upgrade your security by downloading and scanning with “Internet Security Suite”. The popups look like this:

Warning
Warning! Virus detected
Threat Detected: Trojan-Spy.HTML.Sunfraud.a

or similar.

After installation, InternetSecuritySuite rogue will start a faked system scan. The interface is not different from its predecessors, mimicking theme of legitimate windows programs. You will be presented with various infections of TrustWarrior, couple Trojans and Viruses. Majority of them will not be “cleaned” without purchasing “full” version of InternetSecuritySuite. The problem is that the files detected are completely harmless: Most of them are planted by trojans, promoting Internet Security Suite, others are files, required for system operation.
Additionally, Fake Internet Security suite might block execution of legitimate programs including malware removal. This will impact your computer usage seriously. However, under not conditions pay for this scam: their owners will record and resell your credit card details for sure. This might cause you to lose even more money than the price of this garbage.
Internet Security Suite might be hard to remove. Before removing, do not forget to disable proxy server in your browser so you can download anti-malware programs. I suggest rebooting into safe mode with networking before trying to scan your PC with spyhunter, Vipre antivirus or other malware removal program. I strongly recommend removing this rogue, as it is sure sign that your PC is accessible by third party programs and people without your consent.

Yesterday I tried to down load “spyware doctor” but was only partially successful. The logo is on my screen but thats it. The last process of the installation proceedure registered “time out”. I retried several times but to no avail. I believe that “Internet security suite” virus has so imbedded itself into my computer that it just about blocks everything. Pls advise suggestions.

  4. Will the Ascentive Spyware Blocker products work to rid this Internet Security Suite? I have this on my computer, but have not scanned due to the annoying popups and lockups.

  5. I managed to get this aweful thing. I used spybot SD , but cannot remove it as access denied. A friend suggested malewarebytes anti-maleware It detected a lot more than spybot, and removed it. I rebooted and did a re-scan in spybot and this other program. Still shows in spybot, but nothing in the other. I still have trouble getting to my email, and logging into msn/yahoo messenger.

I tried spybot in safe mode too.

    any suggestions?

Also yes, I hope someone finds these people and put them behind bars.

  6. Can someone please help me remove internet security suit. I am not a computer whiz and desperatly need to get rid of it

  7. I got pulled into this situation with my laptop and when I found out it was fake, I had already paid for this, now I am fighting and refuse to pay for it and am working with the credit card system that I used to purchase this . I submitted to the credit card system that it is fake. I had to reinstall everything back onto my laptop, that took a long while, as I am not an expert.

  8. I purchased a lifetime license for Internet Security Suite few years ago and now it is asking me again to pay! What happens here?

  9. If it is fake one, don’t pay. However, most of security software have annual subscriptions or similar (due to updates to their database, detection and removal methods).
