How to remove Windows Premium Shield

Windows Premium Shield is a rogue antivirus program that belongs to FakeVime family of rogues. The virus infiltrates into computers with a help of Trojans and once inside it imitates a performance of Windows Defender. In fact, Windows Premium Shield is a malicious program that was designed by cyber criminals in order to get money from less experienced computer users.

At first, Windows Premium Shield runs a fake scanner which pretends to look for infections on your PC. You will not be able to stop or pause the scanner, so you will have to wait until it finishes. Then you will receive a list of threats that are supposedly damaging your system. In fact these scan results are falsified as Windows Premium Shield cannot detect anything. However, it will recommend purchasing its full version to complete the scan and remove supposedly found infections.

Beware that it is just an attempt to swindle your money away. Your system might be completely fine and the only problem is Windows Premium Shield. If you notice any security notifications that this program displays, do not believe them. It is just another sign of of this scam’s activity on your PC. The program also blocks MSE in registry only and prevents other applications from starting by killing their processes:

Firewall has blocked a program from accessing the Internet
Internet Explorer
C:\program files\internet explorer\iexplorer.exe

C:\program files\internet explorer\iexplorer.exe
is suspected to have infected your PC.
This type of virus intercepts entered data and transmits them to a remote server.

Remove Windows Premium Shield from your system as soon as you detect it on your computer.  It is a malicious application that will only cause you problems and try to rip you off. There are plenty of legitimate security tools out there, but this one definitely has nothing to do with computer’s protection. Use a reputable antispyware program, for example, Spyhunter or other security tool that you trust.
