How to remove RegFix Pro?
What is RegFix Pro?
RegFix Pro is a registry repair tool, and just as pretty much every other such program, RegFix Pro is fake. This parasite typically enters the system by using either Zlob or Vundo, both of which are backdoor trojans. RegFix Pro uses misleading advertising to trick the user into purchasing it’s “licensed version”, which is no more functional than the so called trial version.
Upon entering the system, RegFix Pro will flood the user with popups and fake system notifications, claiming there are serious errors in his Windows registry. While pretty much every registry has an error or two, RegFix Pro has neither the ability to detect nor remove any of them and should therefore be thoroughly ignored. Much like any other rogue, RegFix Pro will perform fake registry scans, which produce greatly exaggerated results.
RegFix Pro is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block it’s homepage using your HOSTS file.

RegFix Pro is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only RegFix Pro can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads RegFix Pro trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, RegFix Pro offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, RegFix Pro does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as RegFix Pro, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install RegFix Pro, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as RegFix Pro, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
