  3. so just go to i have a code and want to enter it know and type this in D13F-3B7D-B3C5-BD84 then after that you have free access to delete all “viruses”. hope this helped

    @marilyn, once you clik on the “remove all ” button which the Security Defender pops up..just click next and it will prompt u to activate and click next and then copy paste this “D13F-3B7D-B3C5-BD84” and Viola!!! all ur “viruses” are cleaned and your security defender vanishes.!! 🙂

  5. Did you find out where to type in the code to remove security defender? I have the same problem on my computer.

  6. Yes, tate withers the code did work. Once you act like you are going activate the Security Defender from one of the pop ups, you click activate, but then it will prompt you to choose, activate now, or I have already activated, but enter my code.(something like that. You choose to already activated, and enter my code. Then, the code window will come up, to enter the code. If you choose to activate now, the window will come up for you enter your information to purchase it first, so choose the other choice to enter the code. I rebooted afterwards, and so far so good. Thanks a million. Glad there is help out there with these types of situations.

  7. 2015 UPDATE: Appears that Security Defender has changed their site – the Code solution above no longer works. McAffe scans that ‘quarantined’ the problem are not effective, and SD blocks every attempt to use an application or reach a website on IE. Can’t download anything from Spyhunter of Malwarebytes becuse I can’t get there.
    Anybody have a solution thatwwwwwwwwwwwwwww works in May, 2015?
