  1. SpyHunter has dealt successfully with
    – Hack Tool:Win32 Keygen
    – Conduit Search/Toolbar
    – Connect.com
    – Iminent SearchTheWeb
    – Iminent Toolbar
    – Iminent WebBooster
    – Softonic Search/Toolbar
    – Several “Adware”, including the infamous “Zombie Threat”.
    BUT, BUT, BUT:
There is actually no free download of SpyHunter. After downloading its free version and going through the first scan, the list of identified threats is presented, yet in order to get rid of the malware one has to register and purchase the software at a price which is not disclosed upfront (price is € 39,59). Furthermore, read carefully art. 9 of the general conditions, which in practice relieves the seller from all possible kinds of responsibility.
Summary: Upfront it seems an effective product, but the marketing approach is somewhat less than fair.

  2. Fabio: There is no decent free anti-malware program (most of them have some sort of catch). Spyhunter shows exact locations of items it detects and you can delete them yourself. And about general conditions … this is included in ALL anti-malware programs due to various reasons. Maybe except for business versions.
