AnyFlix ads - How to remove

AnyFlix adware virus was first detected in 2015. Officially, this program was supposed to be seen as a legitimate DNS service, allowing people to view U.S restricted content. Over time, we have investigated many similar applications like DNS Unblocker and VPNTop.

You might have encountered domains like CBS or HBO which do not allow foreigners to view their video material. AnyFlix DNS service is meant to proxy the portion of data which validates the geographic location of users. Advertisements that this adware displays will include technical support scams, rogue updates, and promotions of low-quality products (Malicious advertising). By clicking on Ads by AnyFlix, you are risking your cyber security. Your computer might become infected with malicious viruses, or become constantly monitored by unknown third-parties.

There are a lot of rogue DNS services that promise to bypass geo-restrictions. This category includes such infections like Webunstop.org and Counterflix. None of these programs should be trusted: they will simply put your operating system at risk.

Furthermore, we did not find a legitimate source for AnyFlix virus, but we do believe that the suspicious application could be installed during Setup Wizards for other freeware applications. How to remove AnyFlix ads using Windows Control Panel
