Basically, if you are experiencing advertisements labeled “Ads by Addonjet”, there might be two reasons for this – you have Addonjet malware on your computer or some other malware is monetizing their business using this service.

First of all, ads delivered by Addonjet can lead you to malicious websites, because literally, anyone can be promoting their business out there. I.e. pornography, drugs, guns, forbidden content and so on can simply show up on your screen if you click on one of those ads by Addojet. Next, the overall performance of your computer and web browser might be slower, because additional extension and its’ commands to show you ads requires additional computing power. Not to mention that those ads won’t be relevant to the content you are interested in and they come in various forms that are uncomfortable.
