How to remove System Security 2009?
What is System Security 2009?
System Security 2009 is a rogue anti-spyware program – a fake spyware remover, which relies on disinformation and intimidation to trick the user into purchasing it’s “licensed version” (hence the name “scareware”). This parasite typically enters the system by using the trojan Zlob, but there are other methods of infection, such as the good old manual download and installation.
Once inside and active, System Security 2009 will flood the user with popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to inform him of an infection or multiple infections present on the system. While this information may coincidentally be true, System Security 2009 has neither the ability to detect nor remove spyware, and should therefore be ignored. Much like any other rogue out there, System Security 2009 will also perform fake system scans, which return greatly exaggerated or downright false results.
System Security 2009 is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block it’s homepage using your HOSTS file.

System Security 2009 is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only System Security 2009 can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads System Security 2009 trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, System Security 2009 offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, System Security 2009 does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as System Security 2009, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install System Security 2009, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as System Security 2009, is nearly impossible to remove manually.

We have not selected to purchase system security because we know it is a shocking scam but still we ae unable to use our computer. I cannot use our secure internet page and it’s even blocked us from using programs like microsoft word etc…
Even when I select options on my computer to remove this scam it does not allow me to do so as if it knows my every move. I am a basic user, I don’t know much about computers and I have no idea how to get rid of this headache scam program. Any tips for me anyone?
I don’t understand how these rogue scam companys can get away with this crap.
System security ruined my pc it cant let me unistall it. i need to unistall this program some one please heeeeeeeeeeelppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!
i’ve already download the installer of antimalware software, but i can’t install it.
the intalling windows will disappear then the security system stated that the file is infected. i tried so many times to open and install it, but it still can’t. how can i install the antimalware software into my computer??
You should rename the installer to something else. Also, try installing in safe mode. If all these things fail, try installing an alternate removers : malware bytes anti-malware (no real time protection in free version or ESET NOD32 antivirus free trial
I just hammered on Alt-F4 until it closed everything. Then I was able to download anti-malware.It wouldn’t let me run safe mode. It crashed my computer several times. Finally, I just had to reset at last working settings. I still don’t know if that’s what let me reset or if the maleware just finally let it load normally. It also prevented avg from connecting to the internet to update. Nasty little proggie that, but have heart. You can beat it.
O.k People look This happens to me also, I coudn’t do anything; not even install a program to remove it. It was not possible to use the task manager to stop it!! M..r F…r! System Security 2009 !!but yeessss it is possible to remove it.
What I did…:
Turn off computer
Once you turn it on again you’ll see the screen all blue with a WARNING! message
O.k I saw the System Security System 2009 icon on the desktop pointed on it to see where was located.
Programs/Settings/All Users/Aplication Data/System Security2009
There it was!
I coudn’t delated!! it was impossible!
O.k! I noticed that when I star the system it takes a few seconds to change the screen from Windos XP to the one with the WARNING! in those few seconds I got the opportunity to remove it.
I sent the System Security 2009 exe. to the desktop close to the Recycle Bin then I turn Off the Pc, I was going to turn it on again but I knew that I only had few seconds to hold it and put it on the Recycle Bin before the WARNING! screen will show. And yeesss !! Once the Trojan in the Recycle Bin I delated! after that I was able to work with my pc, I installed a Spyware program to remove more malware.
I restared the my system again and It was O.k. I guess.
Good luck!
Restart computer in safe mode (hit F8 when rebooting) I ran Superantispyware free edition which you can download for free and also ran McAfee.
Before starting in safe mode I was unable to run either of these programs but after running them in safe mode and rebooting to normal mode the system security crap was removed.
I would not rely on McAfee and SuperAntispyware alone… Rescan your PC with spyware doctor and malware bytes anti-malware just to make sure. Both have scanners free. There is no 100% protection from single tool.
I dropped the desktop icon in my recyle bin and rebooted. I was finally able to restart my computer without system security 2009 hijacking my PC. I then uninstalled the software via the control panel. I am now running eTrust PestPatrol to remove additional pests.
i cant get the stupid crap off my comtuer
