Polizia Slovena virus - How to remove

Polizia Slovena virus is known to rip off Slovenian computer users. It is one more scam that works the same as FBI ransomware, Ukash virus or Canadian Police virus. Using the name and the logo of a governmental institution such as local police, it scares infected computer users by blocking their computers and demanding for a fine to be paid.

Polizia Slovena virus can get inside a system if one browses malicious websites or downloads corrupted shareware or freeware. Trojans are being used to distribute this malware in many cases.

Once inside a computer Polizia Slovena virus makes changes to original settings in order to block all of system functions. All you can see is a screen with a working camera no matter how many times you will try to restart your computer. A text displayed says that your files and pictures will be used to identify a computer user. Do not believe this message. It is only a scam that was made to be very convincing because it aims to persuade you to pay money.

The text accuses a blocked computer user of various crimes such as illegal listening and downloading of copyright music, movies, etc. Part of the charges even relate to distribution and usage of pornographic files. For the charges to be removed, according to the message, one must pay the fine of 100EUR:

Znesek kazni 100 €. Plačilo je treba opraviti v 48 urah po odkritju kršitve. Če znesek kazni ni plačan, samodejno na kazensko zadevo.

There is no need to say that paying the fine will not remove Polizia Slovena virus. It will only give more funding for development of similar scams. Although it is complicated to dispute the charges made since scammers use prepaid payment systems such as Ukash and Paysafe Card, we strongly recommend contacting your credit card bank in a case of payment.

Here are simple steps for Polizia Slovena virus removal:

1. Restart your computer; press F8 while it is restarting;
2. Choose safe mode with networking;
3. Launch MSConfig;
4. Disable startup items rundll32 turning on any application from Application Data;
5. Restart the system once again.
6. Scan with https://www.2-viruses.com/downloads/spyhunter-i.exe to identify file and delete it.

There are several versions of Polizia Slovena virus. Some of them do not let a computer to be launched in safe modes. Neverthless even then there is a short gap that you can use to run anti-malware programs. Here are instructions for the latter case:

1. Reboot normally.
2. Start->Run.
3. Enter : http://2-viruses.com/downloads/spyhunter-i.exe . If malware is loaded, just press alt+tab once and keep entering the string blindly. Press Enter.
4. Press Alt+tab and then R couple times. Polizia Slovena virus should be removed from computer.
