About YellowSend adware

It works as browser add-on that can be added to all most common web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or even Safari. This means Apple users can get infected as well.

Once inside YellowSend will flood all those web browsers with advertisements in all kinds of forms, such as pop-up, pop-under, in-text, banner or contextual ads.

YellowSend_Virus_Adware_Removal

Usually ads displayed by YellowSend appear on e-commerce websites, such as eBay or Amazon. You will be offered to purchase some particular goods or services at very appealing price rate. Don’t fall for that trick – most of the time those offers are fake, they are just trying to win your attention and make you click on one of those advertisements this way. And we don’t recommend to do that.

If it happens so that you click on the advertisement displayed by YellowSend you will be immediately redirected to other websites that might be owned by various cyber criminals, such as hackers or scammers. This way your computer can get infected with other viruses or if you attempt to purchase something there you can even get scammed and lose your hard earned money.

Another unwanted attribute of YellowSend is data collection. Once inside it will collect your personal information, such as browsing history, search queries, most visited websites or even your IP and email addresses. They adjust those advertisements according to collected data and make them even more relevant and attractive to you, so chances that you will click on one of them rise this way. And that’s the main goal of YellowSend because they get paid for every click you make.

Distribution Methods of YellowSend adware

YellowSend is traveling the same way as mots of other adware – bundled with various freeware that can be downloaded from the Internet. I.e. when you download and install some PDF generator or media player there is a chance that YellowSend will be downloaded alongside and installed without even warning you about that. That’s why you should always pay close attention to the installation process of freeware and keep your computer secured with trustworthy anti-malware application.
