Basically, the program tries to prove computer users their systems are infected and then offers purchasing Windows Defence for fixing all problems that arise. works as a browser hijacker where you are redirected if Windows Defence enters your system. Just like all browser hijackers it reroutes you to instead of displaying the website you request for. It is also very likely that you will get redirected to this malicious website after you click on some pop up ad or security notifications.

Once you are on you will see a perfect commercial of Windows Defence. It states that this program provides highest protection level that is removing 100% of the viruses, spyware and other infections, protecting your personal information, etc. However, you are not supposed to trust this information. Once you make a payment for Windows Defence your credit card will be charged but you will not get any program for it.

Make sure to remove Windows Defence and its hijacker if you notice its activity on your computer and get a proposal to purchase it.
