NvSTECH Toolbar - How to remove

NvSTECH Toolbar

NvSTECH Toolbar is a browser hijacker that is installed to random computers bundled with free programs from the Internet. Once inside, the program changes your homepage to search.conduit.com and sets your default search provider to NvSTECH Customized Web Search. These modifications are made in order to advertise various websites and boost their traffic.

If you make a search using NvSTECH Toolbar, it will display tons of sponsored websites in your search results. It seeks to make users click on them, as each click brings money for its creators. Although this activity has no relations with viruses, it disturbs your browsing experience when you use Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. NvSTECH Toolbar is categorized as a potentially unwanted program and for this reason it is recommended to get rid of it, once you detect it.

As mentioned above, this browser hijacker comes bundled with various freeware, for example, free PDF creators, music or video players and so on. If you want to avoid it, you have to pay more attention to the installation steps of the programs that you download from the Internet. If you see that it offers to change your search provider or homepage, or pushes you to install some additional programs, make sure you deselect these options.

Remove NvSTECH Toolbar from your computer as soon as you detect it on your browser. Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs list and uninstall it from there.
