Foxy Security - How to remove

Foxy Security is a suspicious software that claims it can protect your computer while you browse the web. Unfortunately, it cannot be trusted as the program uses unfair ways to enter computers and its activities are related to the third parties. Foxy Security can be downloaded from its official website foxysecurity.com. However, it often comes bundled to other software and it doesn’t require users’ permission to be installed. As this is German application, it is very likely that it comes together with German software.

Once inside, Foxy Security installs additional browser extensions to your Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. It can also connect to remote servers (true-secure.com and secure2.foxysecurity.com) and send information about your browsing activity. Since the program has an autostart, it launches every time you reboot your Windows and tracks information about every single browsing session.

You should be more careful with your downloads from the Internet and avoid installing Foxy Security. Always choose Custom or Advanced installation when you download new software and follow their installation steps very attentively. Make sure you deselect any options that offer additional downloads, if you are not familiar with them. Beware that Foxy Security can use several different names, like Securita Scout or Bho.dll

It is recommended to remove Foxy Security and all browser extensions related to it whether you installed it by yourself or it came bundled to other applications. Usually you will be able to uninstall it from Control Panel without any big problems.
