If you have noticed popups being displayed on your computer while browsing the Internet, this is a sign that your PC has been infected by an adware or other potentially unwanted program. The messages show up on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. They can appear on one of the browsers or all of them. popups contain links to various commercial websites therefore when you click on the message, it redirects you to one of the pages. The purpose of this adware is to increase traffic and promote certain sites. Although is not a malicious domain, it is used by cyber criminals to unfairly advertise websites, therefore it should not be trusted.

The adware is usually installed together with free programs from the Internet, for example, various video players, PDF creators and so on. If you want to avoid adding such programs, pay more attention to the installation steps of any freeware that you get. They often have additional applications like adware bundled and install them to your computer automatically. Look for pre-checked boxes in the installation steps and make sure to deselect them if they say that some unknown program is going to be added to your computer.

To remove popups from your system, scan your PC with a reputable antispyware program, for example, Reimage, SpyHunter, hitman or any other legitimate tool and they will eliminate this annoying application. Don’t forget to upgrade it to its newest version to ensure the best detection and removal of unwanted programs.
