24×7 Help is a PC support that claims to solve your computer issues anytime via hourly charge remote support. It is distributed as a bundle together with various questionable software and for this reason it is not recommended to use it. Computer users usually don’t even know about its infiltration until they see the notification offering to get a computer assistance. 24×7 Help also promotes various security and backup products, such as PCRx Registry Cleaner, Spyware Terminator 2012, Online Vault Backup etc.
Since it is added as a bundle with free software, you can avoid 24×7 Help. Some of the freeware do not adequately disclose about the bundles, but if you choose a Custom or Advanced installation and follow the installation steps carefully, you will be able to refuse any unwanted downloads. Try reading Terms and Agreements of your new downloads as well. Never accept any unfamiliar applications if you don’t want to face any problems.
Once installed 24×7 Help is started automatically with every system reboot. You will constantly see an icon with a support person’s head on the title bar of the active Window. If you click on it you will be presented with some support services. In some cases, it may even report about specific computer issues and suggest to solve them for you. It is clear that 24×7 Help only want to promote its programs. However, such method is not very fair, so the program is categorized as a potentially unwanted one.
To remove 24×7 Help from your computer, you should uninstall it from Control Panel (Programs list). Then run a full system scan with a reputable antispyware program, for example,Spyhunter or malwarebytes.
