PCTurboPro - How To Remove?

PCTurboPro is a rogue anti-spyware program (rogue performance optimizer) released December 21, 2007. This program is usually insidiously installed by another program. PCTurboPro has little to do with it’s supposed purpose, since it is no more than a scam, which  preys on gullible users.

When active on your system, PCTurboProallows you to perform a scan, which produces a falsified and exaggerated report with non-existent computer performance problems. When you try to remove these problems, the program asks that you pay for the full version in order to do so. The full version is, of course, a fake.

Even though PCTurboPro has a surprisingly legitimate-looking homepage, there are still certain things that give away the program’s scammy nature. One of them, and probably the most important one, is the lack of contact information – something you would never see done by a legitimate company. The homepage is registered to "PCTurboPro, LTD", which is nowhere to be found.

Do NOT download or buy PCTurboPro and block pcturbopro.com using your HOSTS file.

Manual removal

Important Note: Although it is possible to manually remove PCTurboPro, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend using Reimage or other tools found on 2-viruses.com.
