XP Total Security 2011

XP Total Security 2011 or XP Total Security is a threat that will try to get over your privacy and steal your money. Though it is marketed as a powerful security program, XPTotalSecurity should be included to the family of rogue anti-spywares that change their names according to OS found running. That means that you can also be attacked by Win 7 Total Security or Vista Total Security roguewares that will come out of nowhere. They all have been released for one basic reason which is to steal users’ money by promising them the highest protection and all viruses’ removal. However, instead of paying for any of these scams, you should better purchase and install a reputable anti-spyware program which will give a real time protection for your computer. Remember to use them (spyhunter or Malwarebytes Anti-Malware are recommended) when removing XP Total Security 2011.

XP Total Security mostly gets on to the poorly protected machines without users’ consent and knowledge. It then precedes alerts and scanners attack telling you that your system is in danger and numerous viruses have been detected. Stealth intrusion!
Infection detected in the background. Your computer is now attacked by spyware and rogue software. Eliminate the infection safely, perform a security scan and deletion now.

Keep in mind that all these alerts generated by XP Total Security report only deceptive spyware and have no informative value. However, you should be aware if you decide to remove them because some of the viruses reported may be legitimate your system files. XP Total Security will additionally ruin your OS if you will simply ignore its scanners and alerts. Please, don’t pay for XP Total Security 2011 ‘licensed’ version which will definitely be offered and remove any of its files. Though this rogue will promise that if you do purchase the full version, you will be relieved from all the hazardous infections your PC is filled up with, ignore that. 4. I SUDDENLY GOT XP TOTAL SECURITY 2011 POPUPS. HOW DO I DELETE THEM?

  5. I got this and did a System Restore, this seemed to fix the problem, but now some other things are screwed up, some examples are:
    1. When I try to open the System Restore application again, it says it doesn’t know what application to use to open the rstrui.exe file.
    2. The touchpad controller on my laptop is gone and when I try to open the mouse configuration, it says C:\WINDOWS\system 32\rundll32.exe not found

Any ideas on how to really get back to where I was?

  6. LA: 1st – you will need to fix .exe file permissions. It looks like restore point has not fixed everything. I would do it again, to older date

  7. @admin
Thanks. I ended up downloading a removal program that seems to have done the trick. It still found the trojan, so I suspect it was only a matter of time before I would have seen problems again.
Thank you so much for your info on this page, it is very helpful!

  8. So, my mother has aquired this virus on her desktop computer and she has asked me to fix it. I’ve read several articles about how to remove this virus but all include downloading an antivirus/antimalware program. I can’t do this since my internet will not work, at fault of the virus. I am needing other solutions.

    Will system restore work?

How do i enter the registry code 1147-175591-6550. Or any registry code, for that matter!

Any response, any help, any tips will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

  9. Please Help!
System restore might fix your PC enough. However, you will need to run System updates and install and scan with GOOD antivirus and anti-malware or this malware can come back.

  13. I would consider removing XP Total security 2011. However, I doubt it is installed with keylogger on its own.

  14. Is this program or kapersky legit?
I have taken the steps outlined to remove infected registry entries and am noticing similar entries in the .exe/exefile locations…should these be deleted, as well?
    Thanks.

  15. Also, not that I mean any offense…I have been using MBAM, ESET, ComboFix, HJT, for the record. I had a subscription to McAfee and have some kind of overseas tech support which helped me fix an audio problem…but I downloaded PCDoctor or some such thing and it ended up being infected. These bogus programs are just so shady!

  16. Both Kaspersky and Spyware Doctor is legit. Kaspersky focuses on overall protection (like ESET) and started as antivirus program. Spyware Doctor focuses more on anti-malware protection/removal.

  17. XP Total Security has infected my computer. If I get online it reverts the webpage back to the XP Total Security page. I can not navigate the internet. How in the heck can I download a program to get rid of XP if I can’t even access the internet?
    Thanks

  18. Just read about the registery code. THe Administration reply about Quick restore did not work for me. HOw and where does one apply the registry code?
    thanks

  19. im trying to get this xp total security thing off my computer but it wont allow me to long on the internet so i can download something to get it off…Any suggestions anyone????

  20. I found it easier to kill the process by waiting for the program to appear on-screen, then open Task Manager, right-click the only application running, selected the process, and killed it. Then, searched for the file name using the name of the program I killed.

I came up with “NFR.EXE-22C6C719.pf”. It is a .pf file, but the time data seems to fit when it appeared on my computer. Should it be deleted?

  21. I have tried to download malware but it requests that i choose a programme to run it from each time. I cannot perform the system restore as it wont open without asking for me to choose a programme to open it with. If anyone can help this would be very much appreciatated, thank you.
