So go to run, and then type cmd to get the the command prompt. then just type: "taskkill /f /fi /XPPolice.exe" but with out the quotes. then go about manually cleaning. then to get ctrl-alt-delete back do this... Go to Run: Type: "REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f" also without the quotes. it worked for me. good luck this may help you out of the ctr-alt-delete problem. first, its easiest to remove all the file if you first stop the process. You might also like to add that when this is on your computer; your unable to ctrl+alt+delete your way out of this situation. Reason being that virus pretty much hi-jacked my system & disabled that function. I'm waiting to see if it will work because all the spyware programs are just trying to clean my pockets.
