    I (stupidly) purchased xp internet security 6 month subscription ($50) yesterday. Now I can’t open anything on my labptop except the internet. And they don’t have a phone number or website for me to canel it.
    Please help, what should I do???

    Once the charge posts – Stop it or dispute it – you basically wasted your money! I have a few friends that similar things have happened to as well. Also recommend canceling the Credit Card you used – they have the number now and may attempt to use it. Good luck! and if they attempt to dispute the dispute – they can be traced – so they most likely will not… Do it soon (ASAP) and you should be able to get the money back… Hope this helps -

    Being the stubborn mule that I am, I refused to pay XP to “heal” my computer
    however now I can’t go on the internet and programs such as iTunes are being moved as “this application cannot be found”.

    The sneaky thing is I even thought that I was on the Microsoft website for download, they have clearly thought this scam out well.
