How to remove WinSpywareProtect?

What is WinSpywareProtect?

WinSpywareProtect is a rogue anti-spyware program that,  as shown by the general design of their website, must be a clone of numerous other rogues. The parasite usually infects systems by using trojans, such as Zlob and its variations and permutations, or Vundo. WinSpywareProtect, like other rogues, is prone to use misleading information and scare tactics to persuade users to buy the "full version" of the program.

After it infiltrates the system, WinSpywareProtect will start displaying numerous pop-ups and fake system notifications to supposedly inform the user that he is infected. This is, of course, a completely fallacious statement, but the point of this disinformation is to create a pretext for the user to buy the fake spyware remover, which is promoted at one point or another in WinSpywareProtect’s campaign of lies.

WinSpywareProtect.com, the home of this rogue, is nothing out of the ordinary. Here we see the usual methods of fear-mongering (fake news articles excerpts, overhyped statistics) and self-praise (fake testimonials, equally fake awards) in action. There is no contact information, as is to be expected, and no legitimate payment system. The domain is registered to a private person rather than a company, which is odd at the very least.

The best way to avoid being scammed by WinSpywareProtect is not to download it in the first place. However, if you happen to be infected by trojans that spread WinSpywareProtect to other systems, use our WinSpywareProtect manual removal instructions to get rid of it.

WinSpywareProtect is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only WinSpywareProtect can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads WinSpywareProtect trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, WinSpywareProtect offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, WinSpywareProtect does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.

Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as WinSpywareProtect, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install WinSpywareProtect, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.

Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as WinSpywareProtect, is nearly impossible to remove manually.

How to tell if your PC has been infected by a Rogue Anti-Spyware such as WinSpywareProtect?

Numerous undesirable and annoying pop-ups: A typical Rogue Anti-Spyware parasite keeps track of your internet browsing habits, sending your browsing history data to remote servers, owned by third party companies that use this information to advertise their products via numerous pop-ups, toolbars, hijacked homepages and spam letters. All these undesirable advertising methods are used on the victims of Rogue Anti-Spyware.
Changed or new icons: Sometimes, Rogue Anti-Spyware installs unwanted software to a victim’s PC without user’s knowledge and consent. This may lead to slower PC performance and stability, as well as more unwanted programs you can't remove.

HELP!!!! “SIGNED UP” FOR WINSPYSPYWAREPROTECT yesterday. Bought the thing and swallowed it hook line and sinker. It gave me little or no opportunity to choose the cheapest package on offer…$29…so I could easily have bought a “lifetime” package $79. The programme apparently “cleared my “viruses” but any efforts to ask for the cheapest package have so far met with nothing.
“they have my financial details…now panicking
