"king" - Generally speaking, rogue program market is a new field for Symantec/Norton. Historically, they worked on viruses, and not spyware/malware programs. However, they do relatively good job, albeit there is delay till they get a virus definitions into their database.
This is for couple reasons. First, they have a much larger load of parasites that anti-spyware manufacturers to test. Second, some viruses distribute using couple of trojans and remover might be able to remove one branch, but not another.
Fixing of the spyware/virus problem permanently is not a anti-virus software company job. It should be done by OS manufacturers.

having trouble with winreanimator and braviax

i stopped some of winreanimator from getting on my system, but I'm still getting the fake notifications that spyware has infiltrated the system. "pervented" gave it away. and braviax is on my system, too, but Verizon isnt detecting it and i cant delete it

I'm at the point where a restart will disable explorer, forcing a shutdown, and if i cut the braviax "PD" processes, explorer eventually goes down

what now?

ok... I ran Kaspersky Online Scanner. Once I ran that I saved the Report file (as a txt or html doc) and mannually deleted all the infected files and known problems. you might have to reboot a couple times. FINALLY WinReanimator is GONE!!!!!

That's the worst thing about WinReanimator, it installs itself without you even knowing. Once it starts to prompt you, it's already been installed. If you do "run" it like it says, your PC will oficially be fucked. Follow the steps above, because this thing can re-upload itself into your system without you knowing and without your permission.

Most of spyware and viruses are written for Windows PCs, and not Macs. This is the case with winreanimator as well - Mac's are safe from it.
Although this safety might not last for too long if Apple popularity will grow.

This is the most annoying spyware I have encountered to date. It and its components have effectively disabled my brand new laptop. WEAK. Stay away from 911tabs.com That site is the only site I have been to and it has officially fucked my computer.
