Windows Optimization Center is a malicious program that mostly reaches targeted computers without users’ permission. Being distributed through Trojans and other malware, this rogue anti-spyware is also set to start as soon as computer becomes active and then begin its malicious campaign dedicated for swindling the money. Whatever people are made to believe that their machines are really infected, they are scared into purchasing the license of this rogue. However, it is highly recommended ignoring alerts of Windows Optimization Center because they have no informative value and report harmless viruses. After clicking on Windows Security alerts, you may let more malware inside and also be redirected to commercial websites selling this scam.

It should be clear that Windows Optimization Center is nothing but scamware which will do its best to steal your money. It will show fake system scanners as well, that can be easily predetermined to return fake information about numerous viruses. There “results” should be ignored because some of these files announced as dangerous may be legitimate your system files important for normal computer’s work.   2. I have recently got the windows optimization center virus and I have tried everything on this site to get it off but nothing and i mean nothing is working. Everytime I go to download anyhthing it kicks me off the internet and the only time I can run on the computer is in safe mode but the DOS version. I dont know any of the commands to get me through this. ANything I have tried it wont even let it open and for the spyware dr i have it partially downloaded but because I have to do updates it wont work as soon as I tell it to do the updates it freezes. If there is anything else you can tell me to get this to work

    Can you go to a friend’s computer, download the spyware doctor program onto a cd then install spyware doctor onto you computer from the cd. Then run spyware doctor and see if it will eradicate this malicious program. Good luck

  4. This is really weird but I had this fake security software on my computer, but about a week later after having it on there, I started it my computer up one day and it was gone. I didn’t even have access to malwarebyte’s or my internet or anything. It just had disappeared off my computer. I don’t know what happened…

  5. Nathan Kahle: trojans promoting Windows Optimization Center changed. That means that it is unlikely that they have deleted themsevles, but that they wait for new rogue to promote or new stuff to download to your PC. I would still scan your PC with decent anti-malware tools.

    i have the same problem with thise shiet virus. i have download thise spyware doctor and he finde the virus, bat i have to pay for thise and i cant go online wath do i do?

  7. the above same problm is with and i tried every steps to stop it process but optimizer is not at all allowing my windos application to open and even internet browser too and even it is not allowing to open taskmanager.
    so some people suggest me to format my laptop. i am very much tensed please suggest me what to do.???
