My system ground to a halt and made working impossible. I had to have my hard drive cleaned and re install all my programs. I lost valuable work files and documents. This is a particularly vicious piece of malware. It seems to learn as it goes. For, example, when I tried to install spybot or any other legitimate anti virus program my pc would freeze up and make installation impossible. A few years ago 2 distributors of this malware were identified, James Reno of bytehosting and billingnow, and Marc Cohen of vip fares. We need some serious changes in the law to allow the prosecution of people who distribute malware. Long prison sentences would be in order as would asset seizure.
