Win 7 Antispyware 2012 - How to remove

Win 7 Antispyware 2012

Braviax

Win 7 Antispyware 2012 is another scam created by computer hackers in order to rip computer users off. Don’t confuse it with a reputable antispyware program. Win 7 Antispyware only pretends to be one, but in fact it only creates an illusion of antivirus. The program is secretly installed to random computer systems using Trojan viruses.

Once inside, it is configured to start automatically when computer boots up. Win 7 Antispyware 2012 runs its fake scanner and imitates checking the system for infections. It will warn you claiming that your computer is badly infected and even display a list of infections. In order to remove supposedly harmful files, Win 7 Antispyware 2012 will offer purchasing its full version. This version of the program says to be able to detect and remove every single malicious file. However, the reality is that such powers doesn’t even exist and Win 7 Antispyware 2012 is just another scam from dangerous family of malwares changing their names according to OS found running on the targetted PC.

Win 7 Ani-Spyware 2012 also disturbs activity of other programs that you try to run on your computer. Instead of allowing using them normally, Win 7 Antispyware 2012 generates various pop up ads and security notifications claiming that the program could not be started or something like that. Some computer users also complain that Win 7 Antispyware hijacks their browsers. Basically, the situation on your system will look miserable while Win 7 Antispyware is running on your system and you will be warned by numerous alerts reporting:

Malware Intrusion
Sensitive areas of your system were found to be under attack. Spy software attack or virus infection possible. Prevent further damage or your private data will get stolen. Run an anti-spyware scan now. Click here to start.

System danger!
Your system security is in danger. Privacy threats detected. Spyware, keyloggers or Trojans may be working the background right now. Perform an in-depth scan and removal now, click here.

System Hijack!
System security threat was detected. Viruses and/or spyware may be damaging your system now. Prevent infection and data loss or stealing by running a free security scan.

This trick is made only to fool computer users and mislead them into purchasing something that doesn’t provide any services and is completely useless. You are strongly recommended to remove Win 7 Antispyware 2012 from your computer as soon as you notice its malicious activity there. It is the only way to stop this kind of activities on your computer.

How to remove Win 7 AntiSpyware 2012 fake av

Win 7 Antispyware 2012 will block execution of legitimate programs, namely .exe files. However, it is possible to overcome this.
1. First, try fake-registering it by entering this registration key: 1147-175591-6550, 2233-298080-3424 or 3425-814615-3990 (updated on 2011.11.29) or 9443-077673-5028 (updated 2012.01.14) . This should disable Win 7 Antispyware 2012 by letting it think you have paid for it.
2. Next, if download of legitimate software still fails, try changing system date to 7 days in the future. You can try to do so even if registration failed. Reboot your PC afterwards and reset date back.
3. Thirdly, if Win 7 Anti-Spyware 2012 is still blocking legitimate programs, download process explorer https://www.2-viruses.com/wp-content/uploads/PE/eXplorer.exe (backup location). Launch it, and stop all 3-letter application processes from %AppData% or %TEMP%.
4. Important. Scan with spyhunter or Spyhunter for remaining trojans that resulted in Win 7 AntiSpyware 2012 infection.

  1. It worked but i need another copy of a windows 7 registry because now it keeps saying what do you want to open this with whenever i open an .exe

  2. it tells me the same as JJ ; The Key you provide is invalid. I don’t know what to do please help me..

  3. Julia: change the date in bios. Reboot, and press del on keyboard. a menu will appear, look for system date. Then exit the menu and let pc boot. Login into account, let everything fully load, reboot.

  4. I have tried rebooting the computer and pressing delete, but it is not working? Is there something I am doing wrong?

  5. Shannon: Typically it is “del” button, in some cases it is F12. You have to press it right after reboot, before windows starts booting.

  6. I have successfully removed this trojan on both win 7 and vista by tapping F8 during bootup and then in the Safe menu at top is line repair computer. Click this and follow until you get window to restore Pc .
Selecting an earlier date when trojan was not present restores the PC back and trojan has gone. Do a full Malwarebytes scan after updating to remove any residual files hiding in explorer cache.

  7. if programs arent working try running them as administrator and i found a lot of them will start working

  8. Hi I’ve been trying the the registration key but it just keeps saying it’s invalid. I also can’t do anything in registry editor and can’t install the antispyware prgrams above…and to top it all no earlier times for system restore available, all this happens whethere i’m oin safe mode or not

    very frustrating!

  9. Heather:
There is an updated key: 2233-298080-3424. It was released only today by security researcher Siri.

  10. I’ve been trying the the registration key, but it is said to be invalid …Please Help Me!!!

  11. I’ve had a problem with this, the system owner has taken inherited ownership and will not allow me to change the file delete it or use FixNCR, i’ve deleted the virus itself but the files it used to slow my computer and the proxy’s they’re not able to be deleted, also what about the system restore, it seems to have deleted this option

  12. I tried give wrong credit card #, wrong name, wrong address wrong pin code and so on. Everything is wrong. but it has no submit button to click. so I pushed enter key and close it. then restart, my computer is working now, but I am not sure it is still in my computer. how can I know if it is removal? thanks

  13. On 6-24, my laptop picked up this virus. used the BIOS to set the date ahead for several days. Used regedit to remove the items from my laptop 2 days later and worked perfectly.

    Thanks!

  14. Today , I try this reg-key : 2233-298080-3424. The program said all trojan is removed. Should I do another scan ? Now, after I enter that reg-key the win 7 spyware 2012 is update itself.

  15. Today, i have successfully removed win7 antispyware 2012 by using the reg-key:2233-298080-3424.but the icon of win7 antispyware is still present in the toolbar. please suggest the way to remove this icon? how to reboot my PC after updating it?

  16. Im an idiot! help!!! I wasnt able to get on the internet to look it up, so I just purchased it. they have my credit info and everything!! what do I do?! Im not very tech savy and need major help! please!!!

  17. Ok I put in the Key and it worked but now what do I do from here? Is the virus gone?

  18. nidhi: The key disables the aggressive part of Win 7 Antispyware 2012. You should scan with anti-malware tools or your regular antivirus and delete its files/processes.

  19. stina:
Contact your bank about your purchase. Typically, they will refund you (if you used credit card, not debit card) and change your card. Read the guide on removal.

  20. Ashton: I would not use AVG for removing these parasites, try first mbam/ spyware doctor. I have seen complains that AVG fails to fix registry after infection, and this leaves PC messed up (.exe associations missing). They might have fixed this bug, though.

  21. Hello I’ve removed this pesky malware by system restoring to an earlier date, and running malwarebytes.

  22. Hi my laptop has been infected by win 7 antispyware 2012 but i’ve followed the steps of removing win 7 antispyware 2011, is my laptop gonna be ok?

  23. KK: Generally, this is the same parasite, just a change in name and updated version. If you do not see its symptoms and scan with anti-malware programs comes out clean, you are OK.

  24. I have AVG 2011 and it did not detect this parasite on my husband’s computer!:( My favorite antispyware program is Spybot-Search and Destroy. I am using it right now on his computer.

  25. AMS: It looks like it is a version change in your case. AVG detected this family of rogues in the past, so did Spybot.

  26. Does win 7 affect my internet search?
Bec. some sites doesnt show any captcha?
    HELP!

  27. when it says random temp files could it be files that were originally hidden such as: Si6Q8gWB7dQHS

  28. makes a system restore to before the last date and time of infestation, then everything is ok. has it worked for me

  29. thank you soooo much. i was freaking out. i was in the middle of writing a book and got disguted with my pc after the pop ups….. thank god for u. it works… im back to writing

  30. Thanks a bunch for such a wounderful explaination ….. I was also a victim of this error ….. …I am really thankful ….I am able to brouse this now ….

  31. Thank you to the site admin. The reg key worked and it was successful , but now even after rebooting and adjust the date 6 days ahead then rebooting and setting the date back current, I still can’t get on the net nor can I open my malwarebytes

  32. Matt : Try going to net through InPrivate browsing mode in your browser. Also, try scanning with different tools than Malwarebytes or renaming Mbam executable.

  33. i just go back to a previous restore date, say one day or two days before the infection. this has worked for me on several computers running vista or windows7. don’t know how you would do xp.

  34. my windows essentials or macafee never found it try to restore back to a previous day, after you cleaned it out then tell your virus soft ware to block it.

  35. Does system restore loose any data saved since the last restore point was created? I was infected with this once before, I found a program that disables this malware so avg can run it’s scan but I can’t find it now.

  36. i am in safe mode but when i pick a restore point it doesn’t allow me to go “next” to finish…..??????help please

  37. celeste: Try other methods of removal. Some forms of Win 7 Antispyware can disable system restore, or infect it. Use the code to disable it, try automatical removal tools or date change.

  38. I did the code, reboot, and scan.
But, my internet is saying that there’s a problem with it.

  39. Okay…. Win 7 is PREVENTING me from even registering to it! It not even giving me a chance to use the fake code. Yes, my internet is on full bars and connect to my laptop. I even when to safe mode with networking and still the same results. Do I push the Manual button then???? Or…Something else?

  40. Hi.. I think I’ve managed to remove the vile virus… BUT, I cannot seem to access anything (by some miracle I was able to get online). I’ve tried to download the malware software, I run it, then it pops up with “This program is not associated with anything…” How do I get passed that? That’s what I get when I try to change the date, open word or any other program…. Blasted people. I hope they die a slow painful death.

  41. Got it!! Got it off and computer fixed — HALLELUJAH!! I was able to change the date on my computer by clicking start –> control panel –> user accounts –> and on the left hand side click on clock, language and religion –> set date and time. Hope that helps someone. WOW! I fixed it YAY!! (Sorry, I’m really retarded when it comes to computers, so this is a big moment for me.)

I was sure to send them a really nice email to their “support” network before deleting this. I’m sure no one reads that stuff, but just in case.

  42. the second code worked for me and you guys if didn’t work for you, you can open any program by right click then click on run as administrator anyway win 7 is updating now so i’m gonna wait and then reboot and then i’ll see if it will work i hope it does

  43. i deleted that win nonsense but now i cant open internet. it says what do you want to open with with…..?

  44. okay im having a serious problem i got the virus today and idk where to put this fake registration code!!! i need help ive tried to restore my computer to three days ago and it wouldnt work, then i tried to restart using safe networking and i still couldnt get on the internet to get malwarbytes to fix it . please help !!

  45. Got the damn virus today! I am reading all the comments and how to handle the removal. Thanks for posting! Nothing works on my computer except for the damn pop-up stating I need to purchase their program now. Luckily, I have a laptop and checked the about this Win 7 software! I will keep you posted!

  46. Got the virus yesterday. Tried everything. I can access the internet using safe mode with networking but can not boot up windows normally. I’ve downloaded spy bot and ran it … now running malwarebytes. So far when I’ve tried to log onto windows normally it pops up a screen that says security protection tells me it can’t run some exe. Files and then shuts down giving me the blue screen of death. I Am hoping that I did not mess something up when I used the FixNCR file to fix the registration files. I don’t know. Does anyone have any suggestions? i

  47. The code worked but idk which malwear remover works best and fre can you help me with that? I used malwearbytes and after I downloaded it and press run nothing happened!

  48. Thanks alot.. I followed your steps and removed it successfully :))
    I used this btw 2233-298080-3424

  49. I succesfully used the code. For some reason I couldn’t run malewarebytes so I ran hitman pro and it removed some stuff and rebooted. However, the win 7 antispyware 2012 icon still shows up in the menu at the bottom right corner of my screen. Does that mean there’s still problems?

    ANy suggestions?

  50. update: When I try to make a sticky note on my desktop, I get this error:

windows cannot find ‘c:\windows\system32\stikynot.exe’. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

  51. Thanks. I followed your steps and removed it successfully.
    I used this btw 2233-298080-3424

  52. Ben: Run TDSS Killer, also try running SD and see what Spyware Doctor detects. Also, consider running alternate OS scanner.

  53. Just got the virus today. Tried to run spybot without entering the key. It detected some issues and deleted them. I restarted and now my laptop wont even boot up. It’s gets to the Dell screen and goes to a black screen after that and stops. What can I do?

  54. my computer says the win7antispyware isnot onmy computer nomore but how do
I knowforsure it isgone and I did pay forit soit is true it is a fake. Now
    what’Dixie

  55. There is an easy way out instead of editing the registries.
I had this trojan today.Started my windows 7 in safe mode and looked for 3 letter exe file with latest timestamp in my user/AppData/Local directory.
It was something like iqk.exe. I deleted the file and tried to do system restore. But as the trojan has corrupted the registry keys and it intercepted every executable and now the interceptor being deleted the sytem will say that the said exe file not found. For example if you start taskmanager it will alert that C:/Windows/system32/taskmgr.exe not found. So you have to manually start the restore program. Go to C:/Windows/system32/rstrui.exe file and right click and run as Administrator. Restore your system to a previous date when the trojan problem was not there. Hope this helps all.

  56. Hi I’m with everyone else im dealing with win 7 2012 and I did all the steps but i can’t seem to download the program it keeps saying choose a program

  57. I’m on the same thing as you guys but I cannot download the scanner to remove this trojan can anyone help me please?

  58. 100% WILL WORK FINE
    1) Open command prompt (Run as Administrator)
    2) Change the system date and time
    3) Switch off Wireless and Network connections.
    4) Start-All Programs – Accessories – System Tools – System Restore
    5) Select 1 day back date and restore

  59. I have a very aggressive type if I may say. It is not letting me go into internet explore at all. It is also not excepting the reg key. Setting the date to a time the virus was not present and that still has not worked please help.

  60. I have tried what manesh put up there but it did not work for me and it wont let me do nothing is there any other way

  61. I downloaded the doctor spy ware and when I tell it to fix it, it ask for a registration key??? Help please

  62. Try all of these reg keys, one of the should work. this should stop it frm being aggressive with the warnings and pop ups but it doesnt remove it ffrom your computer.

  63. Hello,

My lappy has been infected with windows 7 2012 security alert, and its not allowing me to open any thing even the notepad. Its asking me to enter the key and purchase it.
I called Dell support and they said I have to open the system with safe mode networking and wanna charge 60 USD.
    Please help…

  64. Then download Hitman pro 3.5 and Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (their free) to scan and remove the virus. Make sure you run these programs under your computers Safe mode. Thats how I got rid of mine 🙂

  65. I intered the code and it worked. However, after downloading and running malwarebytes – anti malware, hitman pro 3.5, and Sophos, all of the scans found nothing or only took 10 seconds to complete. It still seems that there is something wrong. What should I do next?

  66. Jeff Ray: scan with TDSS killer (preferably) and maybe Gmer. Then scan with Spyware Doctor, Emsisoft anti-malware and stopzilla.

  67. anyone got a new activation code as none of these work…also anyone know how this gets into a system when you have protection?

  68. Unfortunately even after entering the keys and going into safe mode I cannot get to system restore.
Currently a brand new computer is garbage, any further suggestions?

  69. I tried fake-registering the rogue anti-spyware by using the registration keys you provided. Upon using the last key provided (3425-814615-3990) it accepted the code and I am now able to access the programs I was unable to use due to this virus. I am now running a virus scan on that computer and am keeping my fingers crossed that it can remove this blasted thing! Will let you know if it works.

  70. Thank you so much I found this site by google the win 7 on my phone thank god for my phone since of course my computer wasn’t working at all. I used one of the 3 or 4 codes listed recently & finally got it and now am restoring my computer to a couple days ago. Just wanted to say thank you for all the non computer savy ppl like me who had no clue what to do & I use my computer for work everyday it would’ve been terrible!! Thank you again!

  71. Thanks Linda for the key info. This thing has been drivng me crazy all morning, luckily for me I found you through my cellphones internet.

  72. Thanks so much. I used the last registration code you provided and now I am using the free super anti spyware now I hope it works. Thanks so much for these postings

  73. Hi guys i have entered the key provided and it was successfully unlocked.
i had installed spyware doctor it has scanned and resulted in showing some trojan viruses and in order to remove them or fix them i need the spyware doctor license key and license name .
Can anyone please help me out with this ?

  74. Killed the process to make it let me work.
Killed all the offending registry entries, and removed the .exe and a random xML script that made refrence to it.

Hopefully that’ll be the end of it. Thanks for the info guys.

  75. When the activate now box comes up it asks for registration email and registration key. I have entered my email address and the key mentioned above. I am having no luck. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks for any support

  76. I put in the code which made it think I bought it so it’s not popping up now… I’m downloading Spyware Doctor but is it free? Also am I supposed to restore my computer or what?

  77. OMG I love you, the key thing worked and I was able to get rid of it. I was about to send it in for repairs. THANK YOU!

  78. While browsing some site the same trojan attacked my system again.
I followed the same steps I mentioned earlier and got rid of that:

    1) No need to edit any registry or use any registration key.
    2) Started your pc in safe mode and look for 3 letter exe file with latest timestamp in /AppData/Local directory. If you can not find, try to see in task manager the three letter executable file. It places itself in user directory. It will be something like iqk.exe.
    3) Delete the file and try to do system restore. But as the trojan has corrupted the registry keys and it intercepted every executable and now the exe file being deleted the sytem will say that the said exe file not found. For example if you start taskmanager it will alert that C:/Windows/system32/taskmgr.exe not found. So you have to manually start the restore program.
    4) Go to C:/Windows/system32/rstrui.exe file and right click and run as Administrator.
    5) Restore your system to a previous date when the trojan problem was not there.

    Hope this helps all.

  79. I got the virus stuff off thanks to safe mode and malwarebytes but now every time I try to run a .exe application a “open with” window pops up. I’ve found I can bypass this sometimes by running it as administrator but I really would like to correct the registration errors. I’ve been reading about this system restore thing but how do I do the system restore? (I’m a complete noob to technical stuff)

  80. Sarah: MBAM failed to fix registry in your case. Search for rstrui.exe in your hard drive, right click, choose run as administrator. If this does not work, scan your pc with other anti-malware programs or registry optimizers, they should fix associations (you should be able launch them by right-clicking on executable and running as admin )

  81. Thank you all. Was having trouble on this one. I set the date 7 days ahead and rebooted. Didn’t remove it, but at least I could run malwarebytes after that.

  82. OMG!! Linda, thanks SO MUCH for that code. I am NOT a computer savvy person and when my computer was infected with this I caught an instant headache. I figured this was a scam, googled it and was miracuously brought here. Thanks for sharing. You saved me a bunch of money because I was about to bring it to the repair shop!! You ROCK!!

  83. Admin,

I noticed that someone else above downloaed the FREE SUPER AnitSpyware is legit and works?

  84. When i deleted this virus it messed up how i opened programs cause all of them say open with now to give ypu a heads up.

  85. Mike: You have to fix registry after this rogue. Anti-malware programs do that automatically, if you choose to do it manually, launch regedit (right-click on it if needed, and choose run as admin, you should be able to do so) and delete the keys for .exe launch.

  86. I removed Win 7 Antispyware last week following your instructions. Now Win 77 Antispyware 2012 is back again. It is running even in safe mode and even in safe mode blocking malwarebytes and hiding msconfig. I am now desperate enough to reformat my harddrive; I can’t think of what else to do.

  87. Lake Desire: Have you installed anti-virus or anti-malware program with real time protection? Removal does not guarantee that you will not get reinfected. Scan with Stopzilla or Spyware Doctor – they both have protection from malicious files that stop anti-malware programs. Delete what they find.

  88. Do you where the creators of this evil scheme reside? I want to send some “visitors” to have a “talk” with them. :/

  89. Thank you very much. The last registration key helped me.. (make sure to type it without those spaces “-“).

  90. I got infected with this virus, thankfully I am very Tech Savvy and immediately got rid of the .exe files associated with it, ran MWBytes and removed all the infection, cleaned my registry up for the most part on my own.
My problem however is the fact that it still gives me random pop-ups in my browsers, not pop-ups for Win7AntiVirus, but just random sites. Occasionally I start Firefox and I get like 4 tabs random open for just strange sites. Like earlier it sent me to : Is there anyway to stop this? The virus does not seem to be further causing issues outside of this and I have a feeling it’s something in the registry!
    Thanks in advanced 🙂

  91. I got this the other day, I did a system restore, did malwarebytes, everything looks good but….now it takes forever to start up my computer from turning on until my desktop comes on! Is this related?

  92. Hey, Thanks to you I was able to use the code to make Win 7 Anti Spyware 2012 think that I have bought the software.

Here is the issue now: I installed stopzilla to search and delete this spyware. Stopzilla is now installed and asked me to reboot… however my machine wont reboot… even in safe mode. Could you please HELP?

  93. Fran: Do several things. First, scan with something else than malwarebytes (Spyware Doctor, Stopzilla AND TDSS killer). This reduces possibility that there is malware active. Next, scan with registry cleaner ( CCleaner is ok for that). The slow booting might be due missing DLL that is still referenced, and registry cleaners should handle that. If still problems, give a call for PC support, like +1 888 557 8172

  94. I tried the activation key and it worked well! So if i want to get rid of it completely i need to reboot and change the date? However, i bought an anti-virus; if i change the date will it affect the anti-virus i bought?

  95. Jen: changing date makes some virus versions to uninstall. However, They often leave other malware behind, thus I recommend scanning with anti-malware tools

  96. The third registration code worked on 12/16/11. Avast did not prevent my computer from being infected.

  97. Just finished using the fake registration # 3425-814615-3990 to fake register/purchase the spyware and it worked. Showed that it removed the “infected virus” and cleaned everything up…yeah right! Computer works great now. Running McAfee antivirus to make sure everything is clean. Only had this computer 1 WEEK and got this stupid crap popping up. I sure hope everyone checks out this blog before actually paying for the fake spyware. Thanks everyone!!

  98. Here is what I did wrong. I was able to open task manager and right click a process ‘qtq.exe’ and found where it was located. I disable the process and quickly deleted the qtq file. I restored the widows 7 lap top to a month ago. Now most applications will not open. windows is asking what program to open them with. So now I am using the operating disk and doing a full restore.

  99. @admin
Does this mean that MBAM definitely removed the virus in full but only failed to restore the registry? Or should I scan with a separate tool to confirm and THEN fix the registry?

  100. I found this information that might be helpful as well. I don’t think I’ll ever believe that virus is gone and not watching so after I transfer my files in safe mode I’m reformatting. My problem is that I didn’t make system restore discs and I don’t have a windows 7 disc. Here’s what helped me, hope it can help some of you too:

“”There’s no need with OEM systems to hunt down ISO files, replacement disks, or otherwise, when the SHTF anymore. 99% of OEM system distributors put a hidden recovery partition onto the main system drive that contains an exact image of the system from the ‘factory’ (it will go back to exactly how it was when you first powered on if you restore the system with it). In fact, because of this, most of them don’t even supply the OS, drivers and etc. on physical disks anymore.

Anyway, all you have to do to use that recovery option is to restart the system and access the Advanced Boot Options Menu (typically F8 – sometimes F12) and navigate your way into the “Repair your computer” option and then tell it to perform the Factory Image Restore from there (if it’s not there, explore the options until you find anything with “Restore” in it). This in fact is my chosen method of restoring or else just plain resetting a system after a while because it essentially does the same thing as a “Clean Install” on custom-built systems, except it reinstalls all of the drivers and everything else for you so you don’t have to deal with hunting them down either.””

  101. I use norton do you think it will work to get rid of it also I downloaded spyware doctor the scan is free but it is asking me to pay in order to get rid of it

  102. I removed the virus, but now I can’t open any files including the internet. I’m using a different computer right now.

  103. this number i try to fake them its work 3425-814615-3990 type exactly like that then u cam download superantispyware to remove all virus

  104. (C:/Windows/system32/taskmgr.exe not found) after i remove all virus and this one popup how can fix it please help me. and how can i remove anti spyware 2010 fake one out of my laptop??? thanks

  105. Ankita: you have to fix registry. There are registry fixes for .exe files on internet, or launch regedit by finding it on disk, right-clicking and choosing run as administrator, find a key referencing .exe (and mentioning the parasite executable), delete.

  106. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!
This site helped me. I figured there was something not right about Win 7 antispyware. The first two reg. keys did not work but the last one WORKED. THANK YOU.

  107. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!
This site helped me. I have this win 7 antispyware on my alienware and will not late me get on line only asking to pay for the entire program to clean my computer. I used the reg that you give and e work .

  108. I know the motherfuckers who wrote this thing are watching this and other sites. So, this is a message for them:

I will track your families down. Once I get a full picture of their routines I will kidnap your children, your spouses, your brotehrs, your sisters and your parents and I will kill them one by one. I will send their severed heads, one by one to your homes and, when I’m satisfied, I will kill you. How’s that, you pieces of shit?

  109. I scan my computer using Malwarebytes yesterday, and I thought it was gone. Now it’s back. Is there anything else that I should do in order to get rid of this spyware? If so, Do I have to do it manually?

  110. Manny
This might be reinfection or trojan MBAM failed to detect. To prevent reinfection get MBAM full version or (even better ) a good antivirus like Kaspersky or ESET. Also, scan with Spyware Doctor or Stopzilla if mbam fails to remove parasite this time.

  111. so, I restored my computer, but not on a date before the infestation, but when malware hadn’t expired (when the virus wasn’t running). will I be fine? it’s working fine now, but will it stop working again in the future? please respond.

  112. I’m currently using Norton Internet Security 2012, but it didn’t detect the spyware at all. I tried to install Spyware Doctor, but it told me to uninstall Norton because it may disrupt its program or something. So what do you suggest me do? I’m considering going to technicians to have them look at my laptop. Would that be better?

  113. Alright so I got this spyware a few days ago and I’ve been removing it over and over again as it keeps coming back. Finally after removing the files with two different programs I was able to fix the problem by setting my date a few days in the future and ending the processes of Win 7. Thanks for the help and hope this helps someone out.

  114. I too had a problem with win 7 Antispyware 2012. I did everything after using the win 3425-814615-3990 and rebooted but it didn’t work so i set my date to 6 days in the future and reboot. It still doesn’t work.

I get a message displayed RunDLL There was a problem streamci The specified module could not be found.

How should i fix this problem, Please help

  115. Thank you sooo much! This worked a charm and was so needed I was about to pull my hair out with frustration about the stupid thing blocking literally every programme I wanted to use . Without you I would have given up and paid the damn thing. Thank you.

  116. I did exactly what Stacy #131 said to do. I entered code # 3425-814615-3990and it removed it imediatly!!! Ran Malwarebytes & Avast,,,Computer works like a charm!!!! Damm them for always trying to mess up a GREAT thing!!!!

  117. I entered the fake registration code and it didn’t work. It’s blocking me from downloading Malwarebytes.

  118. Im working on this now. The code was invalid, but I was able to end the process tree that controled it. The process is random, but the description is Script Profiler. Good luck to everyone who is dealing with this.

  119. hey i put in the fake registry code and it workerd but now it wont let me go onto any files and wont let me connect to anything how do i fix this please??? would really appreciate the help

  120. Download anti-malware program on another PC. use usb drive to move it to infected PC. Right-click on executable, choose run as administrator.

  121. I was infected with this thing. I tried downloading several anti spyware programs nothing worked. I did put in the spy ware registry code so the virus would stop sending popup messages. The virus had knocked out my network adapter. My fix was rather simple and may not work for everyone. I am running widows7. I stared windows in safe mode went to system recovery and selected a system restore point that was 2 days before the virus infected my system. It worked no more virus and the system is restored. Thank God for system restore.

  122. Couldn’t even get to the internet on my computer but got the code using my daughter’s and “presto” my browsers worked, but remnants of the infection were still there. Downloaded the free version of Avast, ran it and “presto” again; gone completely.
Amazingly quick and easy. Thanks for this site.

  123. I need help. I have this virus. I used the code and tried running spyware dr but i kept getting blue screens. I was able to run it in safe mode and restart but now none of my programs work. A command prompt pops up and asks me what I want to open the program with. I am not able to use system restore. What can I do to fix my machine?

  124. One more question once my system is finally clean, what is the best virus software? I have AVG but that didnt even pick up on this and I had auto protect checked. Is spyware dr or the windows spyware fighter better?

  125. Kerry: For full protection, Kaspersky, Eset are ones that I rely the most. Malwarebytes Or Spyware Doctor is quite good for additional protection.

  126. Hi, I have that win 7 antispyware yesterday. I used the fake code and was successful to get rid of those pop-up things. after that, I downloaded spyware doctor, scanned my computer and removed the files manually. I also run Kaspersky antivirus and TDSS killer. but these messages keep popping up whenever I start my laptop:
Windows cannot find ‘C:\windows\system32\hkcmd.exe’. make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.
Windows cannot find ‘C:\windows\system32\igfxtray.exe’. make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.
Windows cannot find ‘C:\windows\system32\igfxpers.exe’. make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.
and when i try to open system restore, this message pop up
Windows cannot find ‘C:\windows\system32\rstrui.exe’. make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.
I don’t know what to do now. Please help me.

  127. My daughters computer has this. She’s 8 and clicks on every interesting thing she finds. I thought I fixed it about a week ago, but it’s come back.

I’m going to reinstall win 7. I don’t think she has anything on her computer that can’t be easily replaced. Going forward, she’ll be using a non-admin login.

  128. Since the virus my system is extremely slow and has random reboots. Ive run malware, spy doctor, various virus scanners and everything has come back negative. What else can I do short of a clean install on win 7?

  129. Kerry: First, leave single antivirus running only, or try to stop them all for a while (many antiviruses might slow system down).
Second, run CCleaner or other registry cleaner to see if there are no DLL breakup.
Third, try investigating which processes slow system down. Install all windows updates as well.

  130. Sorry. Thought I understood the basics, but when I log on and the Win 7 crud pops up, I can’t see where to enter the reg. number. It asks you to purchase & goes to the credit card info. Please tell me where to enter the code. Help! It froze my effort to access the safe mode too.

  131. Thank you so much for the reg number. I was then able to open and run spybot and kick win 7’s sorry butt. What a PIA!!!!

  132. I installed and ran the SD completely. But now my computer can’t execute any programs. It always say I don’t have authorization or the exe can’t be found. Please help.

  133. tried the last key and works! i changed the settings of the antispyware and got no problems til now. Tnx!

  134. I am the latest Victim.. But I am a software engineer so I caught it on first time. It scanned system and told me that a particular location contained virus.. I immidiately deleted that folder because I had the back of that folder.. but next when i asked to scan it said it found the virus in same location which I just deleted… 🙂 gotcha bloody hacker… so this is what I did first.. I rebooted system and as soon as system started I double clicked on my McAfee anti virus icon in tray.. 🙂 now that Mcafee scaned and killed the Bitch…

  135. I ran malwarebytes and also downloaded ad aware i ran them and the virus keeps coming back i also downloaded something from how-to-geek.com. Nothing will work, at this point my safe mode wont even load and nothing on my computer will open or run including my internet and my ad aware and malware. PLEASE HELP!

  136. I entered the reg key # and it worked to get to my normal apps and explorer, ran McAfee and Spybot…however, the only thing I’ve noticed still wrong is that I can’t seem to turn on my firewall setting in McAfee. It immediately turns off everytime I click it. Suggestions?

  137. I got this stupid virus yesterday morning and was so frustrated!

Thanks for the registration key. The last one worked for me. I’ve run Microsoft Security Essentials and Spyware Doctor to remove all the problems/rebooted/ran them again, and I think I got most of it **BUT** the icon for Win 7 still shows up in my Notification Area Icons (it says epn.exe with Win 7 Antispyware 2012 underneath it). I had my computer search for epn.exe with no luck, and I looked manually but I’m not sure where it would be. I assume that because icon is still available in my Notifications that a piece of the virus is still on my computer? How do I permanently get rid of the notification icon?

  138. vaev
Sometimes antiviruses do not detect fake-registered versions of software or current version of Win 7 Anti-Spyware 2012 is not in their databases. Contact anti-malware program support or delete the file manually.

  139. Thank you, thank you, thank you! The last registration key worked and allowed me to open norton and get rid of it. Thank you!!!!!

  140. You just saved my life!!!!!!
Thank you, i literally cant thankvyou enough.
The notifictions are gone and my internet is back to normal.

  141. Hi so i used the reg key and downloaded the spyware doctor program but now it says my computer status, ram memory status, system drive status, and system registry status all require repairs… and i can’t start my task manager, help please !

  142. I got the virus then killed it with a program, but now i cant go on the internet, any tips on how to get the internet back? using a laptop with windows 7

  143. also i killed it with microsoft security essentials using a program that allowed me to start it up at reboot and kill the virus before the computer started up

  144. I did a simple windows restore from the day before this evil thing appeared, and it did the trick. Just like the others say, go into safe mode options screen (F8 during reboot) and choose the restore option. Then I did a full system scan with Norton and Malware.

  145. Ok, so I got the notification, used malware to remove it and it was successful, but today it started all over again…. How do i fully remove it? Help me please!!!!!!!

  146. I just got rid of it by using windows restore! i checked of a date about 2 months ago to restore too AND backed up my recent files on SD cards! to restore windows to past dates restart your pc and press F8 upon boot and select repair your computer! Also i found that i was able to still access the internet on the guest account option while i had the virus!

  147. Joe
Get antivirus or full version of Malwarebytes, Spyware Doctor, etc. You might get reinfected, either by unknown (yet) trojan, or by visiting infecting websites again.

  148. Help plz can’t take this virus off my computer.. I type different key num i read but it doesn’t work. anyone knows an easy way to remove this virus?

  149. Thank you for suggesting to try to fake this anti spyware out. We used the last registration number and did the manual registration. Problem solved.

  150. well i got this and i used malwarebytes but now my comp is running normally but on my notifications it says its still there but i put hide icon and notifications but when i look it up its still in my comp. idk if its still there or not. i cleaned it and my viruse protection took alot of things off and so did malwarebytes. is it clean?

  151. well i have malwarebytes but i cant download spyware doctor cuz it wants to uninstall my virus protection and i paid for it so i really dont wannt to take it off. so ill run malwarebytes again. but really if the icon is still there that means its not gone? i mean nothing has happened to my comp since that day, and my icons work nothing is damaged.@admin

  154. Hi I must tell you i’m afraid to even put my email on this page after what happen to me. For weeks my laptop was working slow and had pop ups about antivirus software that needed to be downloaded to it. I ignored it until one day my laptop would not turn on, it stated that I needed to purchase the antivirus software in order for it to work. Like an idiot I did it because I thought if I didn’t my laptop would crash. I thought it was legit because it gave me a license number and a conformation number. Now I took your advise and notified my bank and I will be filing a police report so that I can recover my funds. My question to you is how can we locate these people that are obviously taking advantage of people, they need to be STOPPED.

  155. Hi, My son got this virus over Xmas. I used malwarebytes and it lookslike it got rid of it but now I can’t connect to the internet. The connection icon says “connected, signal strength excellent” but a window pops up on the screen saying “Unable to connect to the internet”. Any suggestions?
