This file is harmless in your case. Cookies are just a text information that allow websites to know when you visit them again. You could scan with superantispyware if you wish, it detects lots of tracking cookies, but more or less they are all harmless.

i have almost this same file on my computer %UserProfile%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\s1jqw0bz.default\cookies.sqlite only mine has innhlcbm.default as the folder. A window pops up when i open firefox saying that cookies.sqlite is a tracking cookie but offers me no option to fix it. when i go to the file location i cannot delete the file, it says that i must have permission to do this action. however i do not seem to have virusremover2008. i searched this site for sqlite and this was the only result. are you able to tell me what program put this file on my computer? and if so, how to get rid of it?

My laptop became infected with various forms of rogue anti-virus removal programs, one of them being VirusRemover2008. I shut it down lastnight and am now no longer able to logon to my laptop. I can get to the logon page when Windows is starting up, and after I enter my password it proceeds to logon and then before it finishes it logs me off my own laptop. How can I get back into my laptop to continue to try remove the programs. Please help me!

virusremover 2008 caused me a world of problems. it installed itself, and i got a nasty virus because of it. it took me forever to uninstall it, and to install some real anti-virus, because whoever designed this is very smart, and it would not allow me to go to any sites offering anti-virus. eeeeeeeeesh.

Gullible, huh? This program downloaded and installed itself on my computer without me EVER visiting any unusual website or clicking any links. Also, none of the processes that this website or any other recommend stopping ever show as running in task manager. The virus has blocked my computer from installing any new antivirus programs so I can't even try one of the recommended programs to remove it. Half the time, Windows doesn't even start up right. I'm screwed unless I take it out to get fixed but it ticks me off that I have to pay for it when I have McAfee installed and it didn't do it's job. Like I said, it's not as if I downloaded something or clicked on some weird link in an email or website. This virus sucks.
