What is TrustedAntivirus?
Once inside, TrustedAntivirus proceeds to harass users with its annoying pop-ups that tell you that you've been infected with spyware. If you click any of these, the parasite starts its falsified scan, which shows a grossly exaggerated error list, and all the errors there are made up. However, if you want to clean these imaginary threats, you must buy TrustedAntivirus. Ain't it convenient?
As for the TrustedAntivirus homepage, it looks something like a badly designed Word template with slightly more tolerable graphics. The lame copywriting attempts of a scammer-cum-security pro are fairly obvious, as is poor choice of grammar and spelling. The company information of TrustedAntivirus creators is missing from the website, as well as the registration info of the website. Reeks of scam? Yes, it does. Which brings us to the final verdict: TrustedAntivirus IS SCAMWARE. Do not, under any circumstances, download or install it if you want to keep your money in your pocket. It is best to remove TrustedAntivirus if you have been infected, and block its homepage with your HOSTS file.

TrustedAntivirus is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only TrustedAntivirus can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads TrustedAntivirus trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, TrustedAntivirus offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, TrustedAntivirus not only does not fix the errors, but it takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as TrustedAntivirus, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install TrustedAntivirus, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as TrustedAntivirus, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
