  1. the best thing is to prevent it from coming in to begin with. my avast anti virus stops it before it gets in. i just get an extra tab of “the webpage is not available”, which i can use for something else, or not, as I see fit

  2. Jim — I use Avast and it is useless. Despite Avast, I got this virus on my computer and can’t get rid of it. Also, trying to report it to Avast online is nearly impossible as it just goes into an endless loop. Will be going back to another antivirus program as soon as this subscription expires.

  3. I no longer get pop ups from this sight, just a blank page with the name of the sight in the search box. I found the components of this web sight lurking in different areas of my computer. In the regristry, in the cookies, and even in my add ons. I still don’t understand why the blank page keeps popping in. I removed all traces from those areas.

If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.

  4. I used the Spyhunter Download thinking that it says “assists in its removal for free.” “You can remove detected files, processes and registry entries yourself or purchase a full version”, bullsh!t. After scanning, found some infections, I hit the FIX button, wanted registry /money. I thought removal was free. I tried to delete the scan, it locked up my laptop. I couldn’t do anything. Had to reboot manually. So much for help. Won’t be back to this site. I still have the infections and now I got to figure out how to remove the useless Spyhunter & it’s hidden files.

I didn’t want to give my email address, now I’ll get useless emails, but I don’t want other people to think it’s free. “You can remove detected files, processes and registry entries yourself or purchase a full version”, bullsh!t. Shame on you, 2-viruses

  5. Bud: Spyhunter uninstalls normally. I have tested it myself on Win 7/Xp/Win 8. If there is problems, contact their support, such assistance is free. They might be interested in your PC configuration so they can improve their program.
Also, Spyhunter lists files and program locations for infections for free. You can delete them manually, if you want and this is rather easy. It is impossible to list ALL the infection locations for parasites that might use random names or have different implementation versions that share the same symptoms, and SH is best all-around malware scanner in my opinion at the moment. You can also try Hitman pro (if you suspect trojans, 30 day full trial), Malwarebytes (removal free, 30 days trial for protection), Adwcleaner (free, but focuses on subset of adware), Spybot (oldschool, free, slow scan, bad detection ratio from my experience) and some other tools.

  6. Whenever I do a search for static.salesresourcepartners.com, the only result I get is in internet explorer. Once it pops into ie, it ends up in my cookies. I think the reason the page is blank is because the site itself has been blocked from showing any pop ups. I just don’t understand why it keeps poppping up, even if the page is blank. There are no traces of it in the regristry. I have done different scans for malware and virus, I even did a scan for browser hijacker, nothing.
As far as I’m concerned, AVG is the best antivirus. I have it on all of my computers.
Be careful people, there is a new virus out ther called the cryptolocker, aka ransom virus. It will lock down your computer and hold it for ransom.
It would be wonderful if these people would put their talents for good use.
