System restore fixed some of the startup points and system files. They do not fix everything, and some forms of malware manage infect restore points as well.

i managed to restore my system to an earlier state – seems to be working ok now – should i still check it for viruses?could there still be something hiding in my system?

I am not able to install Spyware doctor as virus BankerFox.A is blokking all exe files also I ma not able to change enter de Windows directory via command in the DOS application and also it is not possible to enter the Windows register via the run section. Can somebody please help me to remove this terrible virus.
