What is Spylocked?
Described as an anti-spyware program, SpyLocked is not only an extremely weak tool to remove real or imaginary spyware, it is actually malicious spyware by itself. This parasite is recognized as spyware by legitimate spyware removers, which means that it should be immediately removed if detected. However, manual SpyLocked removal is an extremely difficult task, taking hours of hard work. Thus, automatic SpyLocked removal is highly recommended.

Spylocked is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only Spylocked can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads Spylocked trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, Spylocked offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, Spylocked not only does not fix the errors, but it takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as Spylocked, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install Spylocked, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as Spylocked, is nearly impossible to remove manually.

May 21st, 2007 at 10:04 am Spylocked creators should burn in hell. Took hours to get this scum out of my PC. Why they are not in jail yet?!
June 5th, 2007 at 1:47 am omg! i cant believe that thia happened, especially on my brand new laptop. I hate spylocked, and the sons of b***** who made it.
June 6th, 2007 at 10:19 pm Spylocked 4.1 was installed on my machine, i was able to remove it via add/remove program files but even though it appears to be deleted, I am still getting those system alert messages from spylocked. So I followed the above manual steps and to my amazement, not one file or dll or register setting can be found on my pc. So these do not seem to be valid anylonger. Need more help!
June 12th, 2007 at 9:31 am I have updated the instructions, check now, Helena. Also, it is a good idea to scan system with some free scanner from time to time to check if you haven’t gotten another parasite together with Spylocked.
