What is Site Adware?

Site Adware (or SiteAdware) is a rogue anti-spyware that was completely copied from other malwares AntiTroy, AntiKeep or REAnti. Hailing from the famous WiniSoft group, SiteAdware has all the basic malicious features, so if you have confronted even one of earlier released fake security tools, you will definitely know how this program works and what it usually seeks.

Site Adware breaks into the compromised computer without any permission asked. Program uses Trojan viruses that camouflage themselves under the name of flash updates, video codecs or anti-malware scanners and appear when victims browse the Net. When installed, Site Adware classically creates fake random files and drops them in the system. These files are created with a reason to be detected after a fake system scan which comes further.

As it was said, Site Adware poses to scan the system for malware and reports it’s earlier created files as infections found. It loads annoying pop-up ads, fake Windows Security alerts and notifications trying to make users worried about the security of their machines. The main aim why Site Adware was released by the hackers is selling its so called “full” version which is offered for the removal of the threats reported. In truth, SiteAdware seeks only to rip people off, so PC users should know that after buying this scam they will get nothing. This program is a misleading fraud which will put the system stability at a huge risk, so don’t spend any sum of money for it. It is highly recommended to delete Site Adware.

Site Adware is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only Site Adware can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads Site Adware trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, Site Adware offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, Site Adware does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.

Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as Site Adware, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install Site Adware, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.

Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as Site Adware, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
