Shopping Chip - How to remove

Shopping Chip

Shopping Chip is a browser add-on that is installed to computers without users’ consent. It is and application that displays various messages with discounts, coupons and offers to purchase something for a better price while users are surfing the Internet. Although these messages may look useful at first sight, they are in fact very annoying an badly disturb users’ browsing experience.

Shopping Chip is distributed to computers together with other software, usually free tools that you can download from the Internet. This method of distribution is not really fair. Although users are able to see what programs are added to the main software they are downloading, if they skip this installation step, Shopping Chip is installed automatically. Basically, users should be more careful about what they are installing and follow installation steps attentively, instead of skipping them without even having a look.

If you already got Shopping Chip on your computer, all your browsing sessions will be accompanied by its ads. If you click on these messages, the program will redirect you to a bunch of unknown pages where you can get your system infected. Moreover, Shopping Chip can track your browsing activity and send this data to the third parties which can use if for various purposes.

Remove Shopping Chip once you detect its ads on your computer. Run a full system scan with a reputable antispyware program, for example, Spyhunter, hitman or other legitimate tool. Don’t forget to upgrade it to its newest version to ensure the best detection and removal of unwanted programs. Make sure you ensure the best protection to your computer and you will avoid many applications like this one.
