SEB bank hijacker - How to remove

SEB bank hijacker is a new version of browser hijacker parasites appeared that hijacks bank pages in Lithuania. The parasite asks submitting security code card details (aka all security card numbers) after the login to SEB bank system at https://ebankas.seb.lt . This information, together with bank login details, is submitted to owners of this phishing scam. The scammers will transfer funds from your account to money laundering accounts and withdraw the funds. Although the transfer amount using security card is limited, around 2000 Litas per day can be transfered during single day. Additionally, other, private, data might get into wrong hands as bank login might be used to login as customer to government services as social security, tax office (VMI) or registry center.

The popup is written in broken Lithuanian without Lithuanian letters. Loosely, it asks to submit all the codes to confirm user and protect the user from scams. In fact, this popup is the scam itself.

No bank will ask submit ALL codes from security card EVER!

This parasite is extremely dangerous, thus after noticing it you should clean up your PC BEFORE using bank or any other services you have submit login details.

If you have entered your login details, or, even worser, security codes, please contact SEB bank and ask to block security card. Code generators are much more safer to use.

You have to clean your PC from this SEB hijacker, and scan the PC to detect and remove all the parasites from your PC. Then you should take time to change all passwords for important accounts as they might be submitted as well.  I recommend having good anti-virus and anti-malware programs to protect from these parasites in the future.
