SafePCRepair Toolbar - How to remove

SafePCRepair Toolbar

SafePCRepair Toolbar is a browser hijacker that can be added to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome without user’s consent. Once it gets to your computer, you will notice not only a new toolbar added but also your homepage changed to home.tb.ask.com and default search engine replaced with search.tb.ask.com.

If you use the latter website to make search, you will see that it includes many sponsored links to your search results’ list. What is more, it collects information about your search queries and websites that you visit. Later this information can be used for displaying targeted ads and for other marketing related purposes.

The aim of SafePCRepair Toolbar is to promote several websites and increase traffic to them. It does not harm your system directly, however, it causes many unwanted changes. The program can also redirect you to malicious websites where you may get your system infected with more dangerous malware. You should avoid getting such programs and remove them if you have already detected one on your computer.
