How to remove Safe Fighter?
What is Safe Fighter?
SafeFighter is a rogue anti-spyware program from the seemingly endless family of scams that began with WiniBlueSoft several months ago. These fake spyware removers all have the same design and the same mechanism of infection. Safe Fighter typically infects the system by using trojans, but it can also be downloaded and installed manually, usually after getting tricked into doing so by employing browser hijackers. SafeFighter relies on misleading advertising to trick users into purchasing it’s “licensed version”.
Once inside, SafeFighter floods the user with popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to inform him of an infection or multiple infections present on the system. While this information may theoretically be correct, Safe Fighter has neither the ability to detect nor remove any of the threats and should therefore be ignored. Much like any other rogue, Safe Fighter performs fake system scans, which mark harmless files as threats further convincing the user that his system is infected. Safe Fighter then urges the user to pay for it’s so-called full version to dipose of the non-existent threats.
Safe Fighter might block certain websites and applications. It might even go as far as blocking Task Manager and System Restore. This program is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and remove Safe Fighter immediatelly upon detection.

Manual Safe Fighter removal
Important Note: Although it is possible to manually remove Safe Fighter, such activity can permanently damage your system if any mistakes are made in the process, as advanced spyware parasites are able to automatically repair themselves if not completely removed. Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. For other users, we recommend using automatic spyware removal applications found on 2-viruses.com.

Safe Fighter is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only Safe Fighter can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads Safe Fighter trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, Safe Fighter offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, Safe Fighter does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as Safe Fighter, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install Safe Fighter, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as Safe Fighter, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
