Quick-Seeker.com virus

Quick-Seeker.com virus is a browser hijacker that is distributed to computers together with other programs that you can download from the Internet free of charge. The application doesn’t ask for a separate permission to be added and once inside, it changes your homepage to quick-seeker.com and sets your default search engine to search.yahoo.com, despite your previous preferences.

Quick-Seeker.com virus is usually installed while you are downloading some other software. You may not notice but some freeware contain options where you agree to change your start page or search provider. Generally, you have to be more careful with your downloads if you want to avoid such applications.
