How to remove PCenter?
What is PCenter?
PCenter is a rogue anti-spyware program – a fake spyware remover, which typically relies on trojans, such as Zlob or Vundo, when entering systems. This parasite uses misleading advertising to scare users into purchasing it’s “licensed version” – hence the term “scareware”.
Upon entering the system, PCenter unleashes a flood of popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to inform the user of an infection or multiple infections present on the system. While it’s possible – even likely – that this information ir correct, PCenter has neither the ability to detect nor remove threats. PCenter is no different than any other rogue in the sense that it also performs fake system scans, which produce exaggerated or altogether false results. As if that’s not enough, this parasite will also significantly decrease system performance.
PCenter is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block its homepage using your HOSTS file.

Remove these PCenter files:
PCenter is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only PCenter can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads PCenter trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, PCenter offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, PCenter does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as PCenter, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install PCenter, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as PCenter, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
