What is MalwareBurn?
Then, MalwareBurn runs a staged and fake scan to determine if your system is really infected. According to these scan reports, your system is threatened by spyware and may be cured only if you buy the full version of MalwareBurn. As soon as you see such messages, you should remove MalwareBurn immediately.
The associated domain with this scam remover is www.malwareburn.com (IP is 85.255.120.20), which should be blocked in your hosts file. The hosting is done in Kharkiv, UKRAINE. It is funny, that "Cyprus based company" as they claim in their overview, has to host themselves in Ukraine. They also sell Total Cleaner, which is a product to avoid as well. The domain was purchased only 10 days before the infections erupted (16-Jul-2007). It shows how easy is to produce yet another fake removal tool and rip people off money now. Do not fall to this trap!

MalwareBurn is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only MalwareBurn can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads MalwareBurn trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, MalwareBurn offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, MalwareBurn not only does not fix the errors, but it takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as MalwareBurn, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install MalwareBurn, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as MalwareBurn, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
