Malware Protector 2008 replaced my wallpaper with its own wallpaper, then removed the Desktop and Screensaver tabs from the screen properties of the user that was logged on when infected. I was able to find and change the wallpaper for that user in the registry, but haven't been able to restore the tabs. The tabs are OK for the other users. Help! Also if I log on as administrator or any other user I cannot access the folders and files for the user that was active when the PC was infected. If I log in as that user then I can access its files as well as all other users. I suspect it will take a registry tweak to fix these problems.
