LiveSupport adware - How to remove?
LiveSupport adware by PC Utilities Pro is a scam application that promotes PC Utilities Pro company services and programs. This application is installed together with Optimizer Pro – a well known rogue registry optimizer and is distributed using Trojans and “free” applications. The typical symptom of infection with PC Utilities Pro Live Support is a small head icon shown on top of active window when switching between application. This icon should indicate that there are some problems that need to be fixed, but in fact it is shown just to convince one to call them and spend money on repairing non-existent problems.
Once you click on the LiveSupport adware icon, the main window will appear with the number to call and an advertising message:
Certified Trained Technicians are standing by waiting to assist you resolve all of your PC issues
Call us now for instant Technical Support and Assistance for PC issues such as network, printer, software installation and much more
It will also promote Driver Pro and Optimizer pro software.
I do not recommend using PC Utilities Pro services as their advertisements are deceptive and powered by computer parasites. You can never be sure that you are charged for fixing real problems instead of made up ones. Furthermore, LiveSupport adware is a sign of PC infection on itself, and you should run anti-malware scan with legitimate programs like Reimage, SpyHunter, Malwarebytes and Hitman.
