How to remove LinkSafeness?
What is LinkSafeness?
LinkSafeness is a new rogue anti-spyware program, and the third one from the WiniSoft family with new design. Other than that, this parasite is just the same as countless other rogues: it enters the system by employing the use of trojans, and relies on misleading information to trick users into purchasing it’s so-called “licensed version”, which doesn’t really exist.
This parasite floods the user with popups and fake system notifications, claiming his system is infected, and leading him to believe, that downloading LinkSafeness is the way to go. Much like any other modern rogue, LinkSafeness also performs fake system scans, which mark harmless files as threats, and urges users to purchase it’s “licensed version” in order to dispose of the threats. Do not believe this information: your system is infected, and even if you are, it’s pure coincidence, because LinkSafeness has neither the ability to detect, nor remove threats.
LinkSafeness blocks legitimate security software, disables system services, which might be used to neutralize the rogue, and hijacks the browser. This program is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and remove LinkSafeness as soon as possible.

Thus, manual spyware removal is recommended for experienced users only, such as IT specialists or highly qualified system administrators. LinkSafeness is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only LinkSafeness can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads LinkSafeness trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, LinkSafeness offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, LinkSafeness does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as LinkSafeness, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install LinkSafeness, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as LinkSafeness, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
