How to remove KillSpy?
What is KillSpy?
KillSpy is the third of 3 Spysheriff clones (the others being Liveprotection and StopingSpy) launched by the same gang at the beginning of December. Its features and website are not any different from other two, except for the cosmetic changes (color and some other elements). Even the IP of the server is the same – all 3 are hosted in Australia, IP 58.65.238.130.
The first signal that this is a scam is the complete lack of the authors’ contact information. No reputable software producer would hide their name, because this would simply hurt the company. The generic text on KillSpy.org and the websites of its brothers’ doesn’t provide us with any new information about spyware – it has been copied throughout the net for 5 years or so already.
Killspy is a very dangerous product and should not be installed.

KillSpy is classified as Rogue Anti-Spyware. After infecting a user’s system, it proceeds to scare its victim into buying the “product” by displaying fake security messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and only KillSpy can help you to remove it after you download the trial version. As soon as the victim downloads KillSpy trial version, it pretends to scan your computer and shows a grossly exaggerated amount of non-existent errors. Then, KillSpy offers to buy the full version to fix these false errors. If the user agrees, KillSpy does not only fix the errors, but it also takes the user’s money and may even install additional spyware into the victim’s computer.
Some Rogue Anti-Spyware, such as KillSpy, may offer users to buy it after the victim clicks on a banner or a pop-up while surfing the internet. Usually, a Trojan is installed to a victim’s computer after clicking on the advertisement. It then proceeds to download or even install KillSpy, which is another way for Rogue Anti-Spyware to spread itself.
Most of rogue Anti-Spyware, such as KillSpy, is nearly impossible to remove manually.
